Iconic st. Louis restaurant, now sadly closed.
Breakfast Steak (Angus Certified)& Eggs. ? A drink at the bar after and lounge by the fire. A shame doors are closing for good December 24th, 2019. A St. Louis staple for sure!
Fun authentic German restaurant. Lots of fun, great food and beers. Awesome.

Real comfort food in a beautiful trendy location (safe). Great portion sizes and pairings. Reasonably priced. My only go-to for "real food." Perfect temperatures of the hot food main entree and cold food side items.

Had a nice old German wine cellar feel to it. Little noisy due to stone walls. Food was good and close to authentic spatzle was no where near what spatzle is and incredibly boring.

It's been a few years since I dined at Scheithorst's having been transferred. The food is okay but I've had much better sauerbraten and red cabbage. The potato pancakes were also average. Other nearby restaurants were better.
Great place with fun German beers and a great environment. The beer garden side had a full menu and we enjoyed the style of that section. The restaurant side was not ad unique but the menu is the same. The foods was great but the spaetzle was a little bland and needed some flavor. The sauerkraut was very good. I would definitely go back again!
The food here is outstanding! Four stars because the service was definitely lacking. This has been the case for multiple visits with different servers. I love German food, and this is definitely one of my favorite wiener schnitzels around.
