I really like Schnucks stores. Having grown up on Schnucks and then having moved out to the country some 30 years ago, I was having to wait till I went to St. Louis metro to visitSchnucks stores. I’ve been very happy with the new store in our town. I just have one question. What is yellow number five doing in my Schnucks Pickle Spears? I will not buy any food with synthetic food coloring. Imagine my surprise when I found it in the ingredients…. FYI, I also will not buy any products such as breakfast cereals with vitamin B12 made out of cyanide. The official name for it is Cyanocobalamin and it is a harmful synthetic. You wouldn’t believe what it’s made out of. Please get with your manufacturers and ask them to use vitamin B 12 in its natural form known as B12 Methylcobalamin. I represent a growing number of people that are simply choosing to do without products that have synthetic food additives. We can do better.

My husband has worked for schnucks for 18 years. Last week he was told they were transferring him 35 minutes from our home when there are 4 schnucks within a 10 mile radius of us. The reason for the transfer? An employee at the store he is being moved to wasn’t working out there so he is being switched with him. Why should we have to use our gas money and put wear and tear on our vehicles for no additional pay!?! We will do everything in our power to never purchase even so much as a drink from your stores. We r being hit w extra expenses bc of someone else messing up in their job. I’m pissed beyond belief and hope my husband never goes above and beyond for your company again!!!! Union is a complete joke that they allow this!!

Two biscuits and gravy is $8 downtown. I can go to the restaurant around the corner for $5. I guess I might as well shop at Fresh Thyme because their prices make more sense to me.

2. The check out line setup is horrible. What are they doing? Don't you see your customers leaving there carts. Absolutely Ridiculous.
3. Store is set up like a maze. God forbid there be a fire. Fire Department should step in and evaluate.

Watch your children in the 'corral' isle while waiting for a checker at Schnucks Butler Hill, StL MO. Next to the candy, all within child's reach starting from the floor up, sits 20 colorful containers full of travel-size bottles of hard alcohol. A parent who may be focused on their phone while waiting in the 'corral' for a checker is unknowingly subjecting their child to potential harm. Schnucks management informed me that 'he' is "fully aware" of the location of these bottles and that the location is "just fine" because kids "are with their parents". 'He' also included I "wasn't allowed to take a photo inside their store". This was the response I received instead of "that is something we should look into, thank you for bringing it to our attention". I wonder when they'll be tossing some smokes out there too as nothing goes better with hard alcohol than a nice, smooth, yet not too harsh smoke. Great job Schnucks. What a way to protect kids.

Poor Customer Service for Senior Citizens! I’m a senior citizen on a fixed income and received a $2.50 coupon via my gmail account for Schnuck’s deli products. When I got to the register at the Alton Illinois store, the Cashier told me I needed to log in to my Schnuck’s App. He went to Travis Kalibfall the Manager on duty for help. I couldn’t remember my password to the app., yet clearly showed Travis my email from Schnuck’s for the $2.50 coupon. Travis denied me any compensation because I couldn’t get into the Schnuck’s App. I am not going to be shopping at Schnuck’s any longer, but will visit my other choices in stores… I feel it’s unfair to send an email for a coupon, then to expect especially senior citizens who get flustered at checkout to remember a stupid app password! My deli purchase was over $20…., far more than required to meet the coupon stipulated. Really Schnuck’s, That’s how you want to treat your Senior Citizen customers?!

I adore your point program. I save them and turn them in at the floral department for beautiful arrangements for residents at the nursing home. Or I'll pick up some Warmies that you can heat in the microwave for sore muscles or just to cuddle. Residents can't have corded anything there. The pop up cards are a favorite too. I love the variety at the Edwardsville illinois location. These small items mean so much to those residents. If the food pantry is low i pick up items to send over. Please make a donating or gifting points option available or at least easier to do. I meet so many people in need and I always have points to pass on. Having these points that equal dollars that I can use that won't hurt my household budget to help others is one reason I'm a loyal customer.
