Food was delicious! Very short wait as well, even when busy.

I just stopped by for lunch. I sat at the bar. No one even acknowledged my existence. The servers walked by, the hostess walked by. The dude who makes the sushi was 5 feet away from me. No one gave me a menu or said anything. I just walked out. Screw this place. There's way more places up and down Washington Ave to grab lunch to put up with that crap.

I literally live like right down the street from here maybe a one block. I came in at 8:30 PM on a Friday night. It was immediately told that I couldn’t get a table. It was only me. I said well I’m just trying to get something to go And I asked to sit at the bar and she also had a issue with that so I bought a beer the bartender was very friendly and nice. I ordered my food and I felt extremely rushed because the person who I was ordering for didn’t eat meat and I was trying to make sure they get my order right cause they always get it wrong. I love Asian food and this place is perfect cause it’s right in my area but when I got my beef Ramen, it was extremely gross. The noodles were not done. It was dry throw together. There was no love in this to go order at all and as for my friend who doesn’t eat meat, let’s just say he didn’t even eat the noodles I wish I can get my money back because that was the worst meal that I’ve ever dragged out of Sen Thai Bistro. I mean it’s not a restaurant where you make a reservation so what do you mean I can have a table for one person at 8:30 PM on a Friday night next time I’ll just go Asian Archon Tucker., Where the food is fresh and the service is way more fresher at least I did have a great conversation with the bartender. I wasn’t offered any seating. I just had to say that because the options below doesn’t specify, I asked to sit at the bar and only then did she ask me did I wanna eat my food there?

People who know me have been telling me to come here for YEARS.
I recently moved 0.2 miles away and decided to go in on a rainy day.
I Walked into a completely empty restaurant. I mean Not a soul except for worker’s and none of them said a word.
2 women at the ghost stand looked right at me & went back to talking. After no greeting or offer to be sat, I walk to the bar.
The bartender is wiping down the bar. Wipes around me and still nothing. I left.
Ive NEVER been to a restaurant and not be greeted especially an empty one.

If you have a gluten allergy this is not the spot for you.
While I didn’t get sick, the lack of options were disappointing. The gf options were limited to about 4 different items in total. I was really hoping to get Pad Thai and they couldn’t accommodate. I opted for drunken noodles and my partner had pineapple fried rice. The food was beyond dry and bland with no sauce. The waitress was unfriendly, unattentive. When she finally resurfaced, she was pushing to go boxes about a quarter way through the meal. We asked for sauce and by the time it got to the table the food was stone cold. So many better options for celiac in the downtown area, i wouldn’t go back.

The atmosphere is fun and cozy, the service is good and the food is nice. Unsure what was Janapanese about the fries, tasted like Mac Donald's fries to me ;), they were good.

I ordered food via UberEats but the driver stole our food. I wound up walking in the pouring rain to just order in person because I didn't have time to risk another delivery not showing up. They got us taken care of so fast, and the food was excellent!

Food was decent but didn’t make up for the terrible service. Waitress stopped by our table twice…once to take order and once to fill water…the entire meal. I asked for drink menu. Never received. I had to get up to get water pitcher to pour water. Absolutely dreadful service.

The food wasn’t at all what was described on the menu. It was bland and lifeless. No flavor watered down and weak. Thom Ka had no aromatics, or spring onions or chiles or anything that was in the description . Truly the worst Thai food ever. This might work for people in St. Louis, but those of us who have traveled know this was weak at best. Don’t waste your time or money.
