Ordering a Gogi Bowl with spicy pork at Seoul Taco, located in the vibrant Loop of University City, is an adventure in flavors that bridges Korean culinary traditions with a modern twist. As you step into the bustling atmosphere of Seoul Taco, you're immediately enveloped in the aromatic scents of spices and sizzling meats, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The Gogi Bowl itself is a masterpiece of texture and taste. At its heart is the spicy pork, marinated in a blend of Korean spices and sauces, then grilled to perfection. Each bite of the pork offers a delightful balance of heat, sweetness, and savory depth, making the flavors dance on your palate. The pork is then served over a bed of steaming white rice, which acts as the perfect canvas to absorb the rich, spicy sauces. Alongside, an assortment of fresh vegetables adds crunch and freshness to the dish, creating a harmonious contrast with the tender, flavorful meat.Accompanied by a side of kimchi, which brings its own tangy and spicy complexity, the Gogi Bowl becomes a complete meal that satisfies with every forkful. The experience of eating at Seoul Taco in the Loop is enhanced by the lively and casual setting, where the energy of University City is palpable. It's a place where food lovers gather to indulge in the bold flavors of Korean-inspired street food, served with a side of warmth and hospitality that makes every visit a delight.

I have been to several different locations of Seoul Taco in St Louis. The food quality was consistent in all different locations. The staff were friendly and efficient. The restaurant was clean and had some unique decor. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable. If you could not find street parking, there was a large parking area behind the restaurant. I would order online or on the phone during busy hours.Parking: The parking area is behind the restaurant.

The food is absolutely fantastic, but what truly sets this place apart is the staff! These are some of the best employees you will find anywhere! :)

My dining experience at Seoul Taco on December 12th, 2018, was deeply disappointing, compelling me to write this negative review. The food, which should have been a delightful fusion of Korean and Mexican cuisine, was a letdown. It was not only dry and stale but also lacked the vibrant flavors that are the hallmark of these culinary traditions. The tacos, in particular, were a dismal failure, with meats that tasted as if they had been left out for far too long, losing any semblance of freshness or taste.Speaking of freshness, it was painfully clear that Seoul Taco does not prioritize this key aspect of culinary excellence. The ingredients seemed old and worn out, contributing to a meal that was far from the fresh and exciting experience I had anticipated. This lack of freshness not only diminished the taste but also the overall quality of the dishes. The poor quality of the food also raised questions about the value for money. Dining out is not just about eating but about the experience, and unfortunately, Seoul Taco failed to deliver on both fronts. I left feeling that my money was wasted on food that was unsatisfactory and forgettable. It's been several years since that visit, and I had hoped that Seoul Taco might have improved. However, it appears that elevating their food quality and customer experience hasn't been a priority, which is deeply concerning. A restaurant should evolve and strive to better its offerings, but Seoul Taco seems to have stagnated.Given my experience, I have no intention of returning to Seoul Taco. A good restaurant visit leaves you satisfied and eager for your next meal there. Sadly, Seoul Taco did the opposite for me. In conclusion, my visit was marked by unappetizing food, a lack of freshness, poor value, and no observable improvements over the years. I cannot recommend this establishment, and I will not be returning. Dining out should be a pleasurable experience, but at Seoul Taco, it was anything but.

These guys not only shorted us, but they wouldn’t answer the phone after we called them a bunch of times, and there is nobody in there. Somehow the veggie quesadilla only had lettuce and cheese. Big fart for these guys.
