Adorable old historic building with a warm inviting interior. The service was exceptional. Christina was our server and was friendly, knowledgeable, and she is absolutely right the corn fritters were amazing! The food is some of the best you will find in St. Louis. Every single dish from the beignets to the desert was perfect! We ordered the duck and the tenderloin entrees which were full of flavor and textures.

The seared scallops were buttery and perfectly cooked, and the beef tenderloin had deep, rich flavor. Service was polished and personal, and the intimate, brick-walled dining room gave dinner a warm, elegant feel.

The most amazing kindest waiter ever. He knew so much and was funny and awesome. The food was very good and the chef was very accommodating to vegetarians. You HAVE to get the corn fritters and the thin mint dessert cocktail.

It gives casually upscale. Service is immaculate. You can tell the servers know the menu and speak from genuinely liking the food they are selling. A must get are the lobster turnovers and the corn fritters! I love the dinner rolls they are more like dessert since they favor beignets. Everything was fresh and lite. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here.

Subdued elegant old world atmosphere, Great wine list, fabulous food! Dave is wonderful server. Even his descriptions of the dishes are fattening.

This chef is where it’s at! Visited from Colorado and did not disappoint! Our appetizers and meal were so delicious. We tried the Corn Fritters, Lobster Turnover, Crudo for appetizers and they were all delicious! We more than loved the Tomato Salad! It was nothing like I’ve ever had before. Our table ordered The Halibut, the Beef Tenderloin and the Bucatini! The chef was phenomenal! Thank you for a great experience!

They try to make every occasion a celebration, and Jason was truly wonderful and funny, helping to make our early celebration of my partner's birthday very special.

The food is beyond compare, and we don't normally go often to places this expensive, but the attention to detail, the plating, and the amazing flavors are still stuck in my head. It was all paired with an excellent bottle of wine, and we got a free half dessert to share at the end for her birthday month!!

Absolutely the finest in St. Louis and only one or two others we've tried have come close.

We dined on a relaxing Thursday evening at Sidney Street Cafe for my girlfriend’s birthday. The ambience was so warm and relaxing, incredible service staff including our wonderful and knowledgeable server Mika, and the food was so good. My girlfriend’s tenderloin was unbelievably tender and literally melted in your mouth.

We both agreed it was one of the best steaks either of us had enjoyed in a very long time. This is coming from a fine dining waiter and a former 2-star Michelin chef de partie. 6/5 stars !
