Back in 2023, my husband had vanilla ice cream at Silky’s, and ever since, he’s compared every vanilla he’s had to that one. Nothing ever quite measured up—until now!
This time, we finally got the chance to visit Silky’s again, and of course, we had to try their vanilla ice cream. And let me tell you—it was just as amazing as he remembered! The texture was incredibly smooth and creamy, with a rich, authentic vanilla flavor that stood out from the rest. It wasn’t just another vanilla; it was the vanilla.Whether you’re a vanilla lover or enjoy exploring different flavors, this place is a must-visit.
Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back.

Silky's is my favorite ice cream of all time and even after I moved to a different state, I still make trips back to STL for it. My only petty complaint is that they used to let me get a milkshake in the quart sized cup (a little excessive I know) but when I live in a different state, I need as much as I can get. Of course I could just get two larges but that isn't the point here. They said they changed management and the quart cup isn't a shake size but I have ordered it multiple times and I don't understand what the issue is. If you have a cup sitting next to the shake cups, then it's a shake size lol Bring back the quart sized cups! That is all.
P.s. the service was great, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is good as well.

Not the best night for these guys. Service was way bad. They made several orders wrong…including the grasshopper which is in their menu! Not worth the ridiculous 40min wait! Skip it! Go somewhere else.

Verify your order before leaving. Had a to go order for me and my family visiting from out of town. They left out my brother in laws sunday and we decided that it wasn't worth going back because time together with family is more important than getting charged for something we never got... Just verify your order before leaving or you will only get 7/8 family members their dessert.

We like going here for ice cream. I had their special favor that had the malt ball in them. My boyfriend got a different flavor of ice cream with pecan flavor. I like my flavor of ice cream I ordered more. The flavor is richer and creamier.
It is great to just go here to try various different flavors that are seasonal. They also have a set of flavors that are year round which I tried several already in the past.
Service was fast. Ordering was easy and they make the ice cream pretty quick for us.
