I needed a good neighborhood bar and this is it. Every time I stop by it feels like home. It’s a quick walk to plenty of food, parks and other little bars.

During Christmas, Small Change transforms into the Miracle Popup! Santa definitely stops here. Check out these pictures/videos. I enjoyed the Snow Ball cocktail which was excellent. But business as usual, it’s a beloved local bar in Saint Louis, occupying the historic spot that was once Benny's Pit Stop Lounge for over 35 years. As the more casual counterpart to Planter's House (its sister spot), it boasts a creatively evolving cocktail menu using local craft spirits. Established in 2018 at Lynch & Indiana, Small Change welcomes diverse tastes with craft beers, non-alcoholic choices, daily happy hours, and engaging weekly/monthly events. A nod to tradition with a fresh, spirited twist.

We were here for a special pre wedding event in May. The staff was incredibly friendly, multi tasked, and made some of the best cocktails! They even make some of their own mixers in house. There is also a great outdoor patio. Fun time, great neighborhood hang. I’ll be back! xoxo Mama Zoop

No food is served here, just a vending machine, which is fine! We weren’t missing food. The bartender was very kind and helpful. The pain killer machine wasn’t cold enough yet and she was very accommodating in getting us other options while we waited for it. Drinks were reasonably priced and the atmosphere was great. We had a group of about 15 and there was plenty of room. It is a bit hard to find because the sign says Falstaff so we had to direct our friends how to find it.

Great neighborhood bar. Came here for a RDPR viewing party but stayed for the wonderful backyard patio space and cocktails. While it can get a little busy depending on the night, the crowd is always friendly. Glad to have stumbled upon it.

Approachable staff, unique and reasonably priced seasonal cocktails (including NA ones that are actually 0% ABV), and in generally just a welcoming and cozy environment!

Came in on a whim for Miracle. What a cool joint, great atmosphere and staff. All kinds of drink selections. Must stop here in or out of xmas season.

I've been to small change twice now in the last couple months. Once for a normal experience, and most recently for their famous Christmas pop up Miracle STL. I love this place. The cocktails are fantastic, and the staff is all super friendly and knowledgeable. Their Christmas pop up is absolutely amazing. Note that while reservations sell out in minutes of going on sale beginning of December, they do have seats often available for walk ins. Miracle Stl is definitely not something to miss out on! Though if you do, an everyday visit to small change is still very enjoyable!

My only complaint about Small Change is they didn't exist when I lived half a block away. It's a low-key cocktail bar where I can, with equal comfort and ease, meet up with my punk rock idiot friends or take my 70 year old mother in law for a pre-dinner drink.Always amazing cocktails and service, courtesy of Harrison, one of the best people in the industry.
