If I could give zero reviews for the manager on duty I would. She was so disrespectful and gave me attitude. I called because I was given the wrong salad. She said I can come in and get my money back. Even after I informed her I couldn’t come back until after work. I ordered on my break and was not allowed to leave. I had no food so I ate some of it. I was not asked to bring the salad, over the phone. When I got there she asked if I brought the salad, I said oh no I was not asked. I told her I had no other lunch and she said “oh it was good enough to eat, but not good enough to pay for”? I wanted to go off on that woman but the Lord kept me peaceful and I said “if I could’ve gotten what I ordered it would’ve been better”Mistakes happen so I’m not mad that the food was made wrong. I’m made that she gave me my money back with attitude. I honestly regret even taking it back now

Manager does not know how to sub meat when ordering kinda sad. Employees not much better seems this establishment has gone down hill. Was a returning customer will not return. Managers too old and employees don't try.

This establishment has and old white woman who works there who is rude and licks her fingers while counting the money AND fixing customers sandwiches. My mother and I decided to go there for the first time after my chemotherapy treatment, and we will NEVER be returning. That older employee proceeded to lick her fingers and hand my mother her change after we placed our order (We spent $63+), but my mother and I were willing to let that slide. However, she then went to the bathroom to wash her hands and then LICKED her fingers before grabbing gloves to fix our sandwiches. My mother and I watched on in absolute HORROR as she picked up one of our sandwiches then touched the tomatoes to place on the sandwich. I immediately demanded our money back to which the old woman seemed to not understand that licking her fingers before fixing someone's FOOD is DISGUSTING and WRONG! To everyone who has ever received food poisoning from this establishment, I can see why. The health inspector needs to investigate this place IMMEDIATELY! My only regret is not recording her disgusting behavior.

It takes me a lot to feel screwed enough to leave a bad rating. It was around 8:30, they were not busy. I went there for a sandwich with a friend after ordering we waited for 20 minutes, went up to the counter to see what's happening with our sandwiches. They apologized we gave them our receipt, and they said they'd get that out right away. 15 minutes later they asked us if we wanted white or wheat, and what we wanted on them. We told them what we wanted on the sandwich and they got it wrong. Never again.

Sandwiches were great and the Cobb Salad was great. I do prefer this location better then the 1 in downtown Lou.

The service was nice but unfortunately the sandwich was bland. They only had three seasonings, which was oregano, olive salt, and pepper. Honestly, it's too much oregano. They need a different seasoning to give it more of a flavor or kick. The undertones of the oregano is too much and very garlicky. The rotisserie chicken was a little cold in some area of the sandwich, even though it was ran through the toaster. I had to force myself to eat it because I was hungry, but I wouldn't go back unfortunately. But very nice customer service in the restaurant looked clean. I wish they had the seasoning like O'Charleys. It has more flavor.

This was our first time here. It was amazing! So good! The chili was awesome. The sandwiches were fresh, well made and ready in no time. The staff was really friendly and the restaurant was clean. I would definitely recommend if you are in the East St. Louis area!

My mom has been a patient at SLU for almost two weeks and this has been our go-to for lunch for the family while we have been sitting with her. Their sandwiches are really good, their salads are excellent and if you are looking for some hot, comfort food, their chili is very tasty. My only complaint is, make sure you check your order before you leave, especially if you have a large order. It is not chronic, but they have left out not only things like salad dressing packets but also major items like cups of chili! We've never sat and enjoyed our food in-house, but the seating is comfortable, spacious, and the place is very clean! The staff is super nice as well.
