Classic Cherry Cola. Enough said. This soda is LEGIT! We didn't have time for food sadly, but I had to stop in and get this classic soda. It's so sweet, you can tell it's real cherry syrup. Sugary & delicious!

The burgers were delicious and the fries were some of the best fries I've ever eaten! Shakes are rich and filling. Prices are reasonable as well. The cashier was very nice! Definitely a place to check out!

The French fries were mushy. After 15 minutes of waiting and finishing our sandwiches we gave up.

It was tasty food! I had the chicken sandwich, my mother ordered the onion rings. Afterwards we got shakes which were good. My one issue is that I think the menu should be a tad more diverse. There are like five main options and three sides. But the ice cream is able to be customized, kind of like going to Fritz's. The ambience was very similar to other 50s themed joints like Cheeburger or steak shake. Stuff was clean, and the service was great. The person behind the counter was very friendly and helpful when we were stuck on a decision.

New location in Westport plaza. Upon walking in very well lit and open. Looked at menu and I actually didn't see anything on the menu different. I decided to go elsewhere. No complaints just not interested, maybe I'll try menu on another day.

I was rather excited to see that Westport is renovating. To that end, I was very excited to see the Soda Fountain Express here. I brought my family at our earliest convenience. What a disappointment... While the restaurant looked nice and new, the ice cream was AWFUL. My wife ordered a single scoop cone. What we were served looked like a cone that we would make at home. It was literally a single scoop, from a small home Ice cream scoop. It was incredibly small and unimpressive. Smaller than a home cone for sure, and it was $4.00 by itself. A ripoff. And she said the ice cream was nothing special in terms of taste. My 2 daughters ordered root beer floats. They came in plastic cups, even though we were eating in the restaurant. They were already melted, and tasted cheap. Again, the ice cream was sub standard and the float tasted diluted and not at all rich or creamy. Lastly, my Hawaiian sundae was not good. The pineapple tasted metallic and, again, cheap. What a disappointment. This is another well branded money grab. No concern for the food. We will not be returning unless we hear different reviews from friends that this place has changed their quality.

We each had the cheeseburger which was pretty small and nothing special. If you'd like to buy some candy for a mere $14.95 a pound you can have your choice. The music was good...got to dance to Otis Day and the Knights. The young man at the counter was kind and professional. Here's the big turnoff. There was a regional manager at a table next to us with an audience of younger members of the management/worker team. He was loud and extremely obnoxious with his actions towards the young lady bringing the food out of the kitchen. He reminded me of all of the unqualified managers I had in my early years in sales. Unless you're looking for very average food, I would suggest choosing from many of the better restaurants in the STL area, who give you value for your money.

The ice cream was really good. I ordered a single scop chocolate chip mint on a cone, and to my surprise, this was pretty big. Service was excellent and outstanding!!

The burgers and fries are very good but the bun was straight out of the fridge. Ice cream is excellent. Had fun looking at the candy selection. The 50's vibe is great but the music was too loud for holding a conversation. Seating is really comfortable and the staff is friendly. Personal preference but the temperature inside was a little on the chilly side and the water in the restroom was ice cold. But will definitely go again and wear a sweater!

We just had lunch at The Soda Fountain Express Westport and it was very tasty! A shout out to Michaela, the manager for making sure our first experience was one that made sure we’d be coming back. We ordered their bacon sandwich along with a single cheeseburger and crinkle fries, but being a chocoholic, we added the chocolate malt shake and that was really creamy and delicious. My bacon sandwich had plenty of Applewood bacon on it with just the right amount of tomato, lettuce and mayonnaise to add to the taste. My husband had the cheeseburger, which he said was very juicy and had a good flavor to it. We went at the tail end of what I consider lunchtime, so it wasn’t really busy, and our meal was served within minutes, hence the “express” part of the name! Prices, in my opinion, were really inexpensive. All in all, a very good experience and we will be back. But to be honest, as good as the food was, I truly enjoyed talking with Michaela, I found her very personable and she made it her job to make sure we had a good experience, so, job well done to Michaela. We’ll see you soon.

Great ice cream. Ordered a chicken sandwich. It was fried and spicy. The menu just reads chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Turns out you have to request grilled.
