Turkey ribs were dry, barbecue sauce was thin and unremarkable, green beans had flavor but were too salty to eat, dressing was slighty sweet but also too salty to eat

Literally the worst experience and mediocre food! First we call to place an order and we are told be a guy that they have no line just to come in. We did just that and when we got there, there was definitely a line. Then the cashier who is the owners son, had the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Not only is the environment outside sketchy, the restaurant itself inside is as well. We waited over 30mins for our meal. We ordered the pork chop sandwich and the buffalo fish, both barely had any flavor and the fish was the nastiest piece of fish I’ve ever seen. Mostly all gray inside. The side were out in heating trays and it looked as if they were sitting out and open all day. The baked Mac and cheese is Kraft deluxe, just baked. I could make that at home. Over all terrible experience. Don’t waste your time.

They were very friendly. The food area was clean. They took their time with the newbies & explained how it worked. The line moved nice & fast.Parking: It's in a small strip mall, so the parking is very difficult. You can park at the business next door. When the business is closed.

I'm not here to clown this business, but I need to speak on my experience. Stopped in today because I've been wanting to try Sonja's for well over year, but couldn't make it there before today. Two men were behind the counter, and one of them was sitting down right by the register watching tv. Ok fine, do your thing. Can I at least get a greeting from somebody? A hello, I'll be right with you? Not so much as a smile.. There were only 2 other people waiting to complete their orders so them being too busy was not the reason for being ignored. I was like 3 ft away, facing the man serving food. While I waited for a minute to be acknowledged and served, I zoomed in on each tray of food behind the window and it was apparent all of it had been sitting out for quite some time. Long enough for a heavy film to develop on top of the meats and most of the sides. The fried chicken looked past it's prime. Rib tips looked dry, although they may not have been. The only thing that looked appealing or safe were the green beans and cabbage.I tried to talk myself into giving them a try but couldn't move forward after seeing how the food looked sitting there in those pans. I'm not sure if this is normal for them or not. Everything might be delicious, but presentation and freshness matters.
