It took us a while to be able to snipe a reservation and I can certainly see why they need them for dine in. They do not have a lot of tables at all. The food and drinks are absolutely amazing. The service was attentive and prompt. Be careful though since they don't have a lot of tables they do rely on people respecting the allotted time for their reservations. I'd probably do to go more just because the food is so very good and I don't necessarily need a sit down experience. I can't wait for them to move to tower grove east because then they'll have more tables.

Wonderful, fun, funky, neighborhood friendly, great food and atmosphere…which is why it’s so busy. 🤩

Googled for pancakes near me…no pancakes. The food was good. However, no salt or pepper on the table. Kind of a big deal because eggs and tomatoes need seasoning.

Incredible place! We love the cozy feel, the staff were extremely personable and friendly, we feel so welcomed! Our combo breakfast sandwiches were an impeccable balanced of sweetness, salty goodness of the bacon and savory runny eggs - yes, do add the tomato slice. Even the Goshen latte is creamy and delicious.

Enjoyed this meal thoroughly! Juice was delicious, and the waitress brought us an extra juice to try. She was such a great server! I ordered the Combo (breakfast sandwich they are known for) and my wife ordered the Farm Toast. Mine was the best breakfast sandwich I've ever tasted. Egg over easy, applewood bacon cooked to perfection, melted aged white cheddar, a little bit of local honey, on thick, grilled sourdough bread, lightly toasted and dusted lightly with salt flakes. My wife's was unbelievably gluten free. The toast was dusted with cornmeal. And the texture was like non-crumbly cornbread. It was smothered in apple puree, a malted whip cream and a little syrup. Delicious! I highly recommend this place. They take reservations; we didn't have any, but we only waited less than 10 minutes. Just go. Same owners of Kounter Kulture. Both are moving to a new building together very soon. Hopefully the move will provide better parking (parking at Songbird is street parking, and they are pretty busy, so you may have to walk a bit).

Phenomenal! I had the spinach mushroom frittata and honey lavender latte. The frittata was the best I have ever had and big portion. The greens that came with it were so fresh and loved the light dressing. Also the latte had only a hint of sweetness which I loved because I don’t like drinks being too sweet. Staff are also very friendly. And I liked the outdoor seating. Simple and tasteful. Highly recommend.

Overhyped, expensive breakfast food. The place was a disorganized mess. The woman who I presume was the manager, was completely rude to my party. She was dismissive and condescending. We had a reservation and there was still a wait. No big deal.
However her delivery in this message made it seem like she wanted us to leave. Many people were standing around trying to figure out what to do. It was utter chaos and she was just barking at people.
We finally got our table and the manager came over again and then in the nastiest tone told us we only had an hour. Not a big deal, however it was her delivery that turned me off. Then the service was bad. The manager seemed in a bad mood which then created a bad tension in the restaurant. She kept shooting daggers at the servers. It was so weird and awkward to witness. After reading other reviews it seems like she’s a bad apple and her responses to reviews are unhinged and she never takes accountability.
Please consider going elsewhere. Lots of great breakfast spots that don’t support tyrannical managers.
*edit- what is there to discuss? You treated us with extreme unkindness. Why are you so obsessed with finding people in your “system”? Just because the reservation wasn’t in my name doesn’t mean that my review doesn’t count or isn’t real. Just take accountability for treating guests like garbage unless they’re someone you like or already know. It’s a common thread in the reviews.

Songbird always hits on every level. We love how much they support local farms and businesses through their menu. Everything on the menu is delicious- our favorites are the combo sandwich, patty melt and the English muffin sandwich. Their lattes and drinks are also noteworthy! Amber has served us many times and it’s always a joy- she makes each visit special. Thank you songbird for your continued dedication of thoughtful food with consistent integrity.
