I was in awe of how the space was put together. You can tell the layout was very intentional and conducive to hanging out with multiple groups of people. Not only did they have a main area, they had a few side areas, an area with art in it, and an area leading to restrooms with seats if the music became overwhelming for those with auditory needs.The venue was colorful and well put together. The art was tasteful and elicited conversation. It was overall a great time.I also very much appreciated that this place had gender neutral restrooms.

Really cool laid back crowd, great music, decent crowd, but not tooo crowded, eclectic bunch, moderately priced drinks. Didn't really like how security cleared the room. I was quite sure what was happening with that. I will definitely return.Parking: Harder to find parking later in the night. Depends on what time and day you're there, if it's paid or free parking.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sophie's Lounge in Saint Louis, and I must say, the experience was truly exceptional. This review comes from someone who, admittedly, had a less than stellar experience during a previous visit several years ago. However, this time around, I was blown away by the positive changes and improvements in every aspect of the establishment.In conclusion, I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to revisit Sophie's Lounge and witness its transformation firsthand. The positive changes, coupled with the exceptional service from bartender Bates and the DJ's impeccable taste in music, have completely won me over. I highly recommend Sophie's Lounge to anyone seeking a remarkable bar experience in Saint Louis. Kudos to the entire team for their dedication to creating an outstanding establishment and for surpassing my expectations.

RISK OF BEING DRUGED. DO NOT GO HERE. My friend and 2 other people all went together an hour or so before closing. They had 1 tequila shot, that took forever to get. After that my friend went to the bathroom came back & they left. One friend was fine but after the other two got home they completely blacked out. Woke up the next day covered in vomit and couldn’t remember anything. She went to work the next day and asked her co-workers that went with her if anything happened to them. One of them were fine but the other, as I stated before, was not. Come to find out another one of their co-workers also experienced the same thing a few weeks prior. Please be warned!

i’ve been a couple times and both times the DJs have been pretty uninspired, but I think that was bad luck on my part. The drinks are just ok and not a ton of selection, but the vibes are amazing and i love the lighting and the local art!
