Visited this market for the first time this last weekend. Due to it being January, not all vendors were present, but there was still an amazing variety of goods to choose, from baked goods to pasta to fresh fruits and vegetables to a wide variety of meats in the meat market. Such as shark, alligator tail, coon, frog legs, you name it! The bakery was amazing. I bought Focaccia bread and a pasta sauce. The bread was DELICIOUS! We plan to go back again!
A great place to visit with fresh produce, bread, flowers, and everything you expect from a local market. Very busy so on a Saturday be early. It also will help to get there without interfering with a game...
If your a people watcher then get on down to the market it’s a genuine all sorts adventure I went in on a Saturday and was hustled, bustled and pushed up and down the aisles with expending any of my own energy - felt a bit like a mosh pit So hot sweaty , parched and a little disoriented we (albeit I said solo) debunked at the next exit I returned the following Friday when half the stalls were open being the Labour Day long weekend - this time by myself So the people watching...
