The owner was so kind and hospitable! We had the perfect Ice caramel lates paired with danishes and sat on the covered patio! Loved the decor and vibe and will definitely be back !

We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and felt very welcomed. Had some amazing coffee & donuts, even learned about the history of the building. Highly recommend stopping here!!!

Great chill cafe, with plenty of nooks and crannies.

Established in an alleged actual prohibition era speakeasy, the decor and layout fit the bill. Eccentricities abound.

Didn't try the food, only came for coffee. Two iced coffees, black, for a hot day and they were excellent. Plenty of flavored offerings and full espresso menu, too.

They had ice cream, donuts, pastries, and overheard savory options, too.

Definitely a place to hole up on a hot day in the well decorated basement to stay cool. Enjoy a thick, high back chair and relax.

There’s two facts I’ve learned since moving here- Speakeasy is the BEST coffee shop and LOU is the best Barista. PERIOD.

I had such a nasty experience with one of the bartenders there and it was not a pleasant experience. Also their are price differences depending on who’s working there

I'm from out of town, needed a place to grab a coffee and get some work done. I showed up to speakeasy and was blown away with how cool the place was. Coffee's great, service and accomodations are just as excellent. Please don't leave without going downstairs first.

I can't recommend The Speakeasy Café highly enough!! Gorgeous decor, a real speakeasy from back in the day still in existence, cozy seating, a couple of game tables, newspapers ready to read, and some of the best coffee, pastries, and sandwiches we've ever had! The barista, Kay, was friendly, knowledgable, and encouraged us to explore the two level café. Great place for coffee with friends, to work quietly while having a nosh, or brunch. We will definitely be back!

what can I say? It's got a great vibe, great drinks, great food, great service. The spaces for gathering offer different needs: privacy, conversation, single or groups. It's my new favorite hangout!

Absolutely love this place.
Been coming here most Sunday mornings for about 2 years now.

Randomly popped in and thought the name was cool. Come to find out there’s a legit speakeasy in the basement.

The owner, Michael, has become a good friend of mine.
I love how he has been updating the menu, more coffee options including protein coffee. The food is delicious, the avocado toast is a fab favorite in the group I bring here.

A must stop in. Many times on Sunday he has live music as well

At Speakeasy Cafe I had biscuits with gravy and a really good iced chai latte. Funky interior with books and magazines to flip through. Free chocolates!
