God I love their JJ Neukomm whiskey! But we had the Bavarian Weizen and it was a stupendous awakening to my taste sensors. So much so, we had to have another! I will definitely return to Spirits of St. Louis Distillery as the food looked great as well!
Stopped in to do a tasting and stamp our expedition log. It's $17 for 4 options, which is a bit pricey compared to all other places on the log. The lady said there's about 5 we can't select since they're out. We chose our 4 and then were told only 2 of the 4 could be purchased. We loved the coffee liqueur and asked how much a bottle is. We were then told we can't purchase this one either because their stock is super low and is only being used for tastings....
The six of us had a very nice time at Square One. Nice casual-cool atmosphere and the food really was delicious! Everyone was talking about their excellent pancakes. Large portion sizes and the pancakes are gigantic so be prepared. Brian was our waiter and he was great! A very enjoyable time.
