Went for brunch, everyone had the same reaction. All the food was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Opentable Diner

The crab cake sliders were good. I was not there with a family, but there were a lot of families there.

6:00PM on a Tuesday night, no wait, server came right by and took our drink/appetizer order. Shortly thereafter she brought our drinks and took our dinner orders. Everything came out in reasonable time. The food was pretty good. We did have to ask for water refill as the server was working two rooms. Interesting window on the floor of our dinning room giving a view of the distillery/brewery work area downstairs. Might be more interesting at lunch when there could be activity down there.

Service was extremely slow the entire evening it seemed she was very overwhelmed. It was unfortunate as the first time we were there a month a go was perfect.

Definitely a must go! The waitress was fantastic and so kind! Food was so good. Have to get their bread pudding!

I've been here at least 20 times over the years and have never once been disappointed. The consistency of quality is something to marvel at and be admired!

We were in town for a wedding and had some time to kill so we stopped in and discovered this amazing place.

Starting with the pretzels and a beer flight then Cobb salad and some chicken tenders. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly and looked great on the plate.

Our server, Nicki, was very friendly, attentive and answered our many questions about the restaurant and surrounding area.

We will definitely stop in again before our trip is over and highly recommend Square One. They have it all, great food, service and atmosphere!

We were on a road trip and stopped in St. Louis for the night. Someone in our party found this place and it looked good so we decided to stop in.

Arrived at about 6:30 PM on a Friday and they were a little busy but we managed to get a table. Our waitress was nice and gave some great menu suggestions. We started with the pretzels, scotch egg, and house made chips as an appetizer. All of that was fantastic!

I shared the Bacon Brat Smashburger and fries as my entree. Overall, I was impressed! The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were fried fresh and tasted great!

Overall, if you’re in Lafayette Square looking for a good spot, give Square One a shot! If I’m back in St. Louis, I’ll come back!

Had better experiences so this was disappointing. Food was cold and we never got a second drink that was ordered, but at least it wasn't on the bill. Services was spotty - didn't see much of our server. I know that she was super busy, but we didn't get coffee refills, etc. Lastly, they may have changed from Wolferman's English Muffins. What I had was not what I remember. Hoping this was just an off day.

First, the outdoor area is gorgeous. A tall concrete and marble waterfall, another pond with fall in the corner. We both ordered fish & chips. One hand cut fry in and I didn’t look up until my plate was clean. One humongous piece of cod that was perfectly breaded and fried. The Oktoberfest beer was spot on authentic. On Yelp this place had 3.9 stars so we were hesitant to veer off our route but it’s truly amazing. The pic shows slightly less than half of the fish. The rest are the outdoor area.

First time here today. Went as they are a part of the Missouri Spirits expedition. Tried a spirits flight - 4/$20. Bourbon, cucumber infused vodka, brandy, and whiskey liqueur were all very good. Goat cheese artichoke & spinach dip and Southwest salad, and Stout brownie were tasty. Crab cakes were good but were lacking in flavor a bit. Historical building/bar, outdoor patio, and distilling equipment at the venue were very cool to see. Patio is a great place to play i-spy with a kiddo to keep them entertained ?

Been here twice both times the food and service was amazing. The servers were extremely attentive to our table keeping drinks filled, clearing away dirty dishes and empty glasses. Highly recommend this place.
