This is the best food buffet in the city. The best flavors and meats you can try. I highly recommend the buffet 😋

Don’t skip their fresh meat products if you are in the store or picking up. Hygienic packaging and fair prices.

I have been to Baba’s restaurant twice, and my experience has been very positive both times. The first time, I went for the lunch buffet which consisted of naan, rice, daal, two appetizers (samosa and chicken wings), chicken curry, goat keema, baigan bartha, tomato cucumber salad, and dessert (carrot halwa). The owner told me the options change everyday, and on Thursdays they have goat ribs. The lunch was absolutely deliciously! It’s typical Punjabi/North Indian style, so heavy on oil. I didn’t care much for the naan. I wish they would switch to simple homemade roti, which would fit well with the rest of the menu.
The second time, I went for breakfast on Saturday and got the halwa poori. It was just beyond anything I had expected. The poori and chole/bhaji were delicious. The halwa was spot on. I would probably take extra chole/bhaji next time as I think a single serving is not enough for three pooris. This will definitely be my go to place for Saturday brunch from now on.
I am surprised to see so many comments mentioning that the owner was rude. My experience was very different. Mr. Masroor was very friendly both times, and I had a pleasant chat with him on the cricket league in St Louis. I did see one desi guy try to haggle with him on portion sizes, which I highly doubt he would do at any other restaurant. I think the small and inconspicuous nature of this restaurant, combined with its location might be attracting the wrong type of crowd. I would love to see them grow and become a full time restaurant with a larger space and more menu items like anday wala burger and dinner service.

I recently placed an order over the phone at St.Louis Halal Meet for 8lbs of chicken and 7lbs of mutton. Upon picking up my package and being billed accordingly, I regrettably didn't inspect the contents before leaving the shop. However, upon arriving home and inspecting my purchase, I discovered that I had received only 5lbs of chicken instead of the 8lbs I had ordered.Despite numerous attempts to contact the shop regarding this discrepancy, I have received no response. Compounding the frustration is the fact that I am not a local resident of St. Louis, making it impractical for me to return to the shop in person to rectify the situation.This experience has left me greatly disappointed and dissatisfied with the level of service provided by St. Louis Halal Meat. Not only did they fail to fulfill my order accurately, but their lack of responsiveness to my concerns reflects poorly on their customer service. I strongly advise others to thoroughly check their orders before leaving the premises and to consider alternative options for their meat purchases

Been going here for years. It was in the current building originally, a few doors down just before COVID and now back in the original location. Always great food. The owner is always there. I question any of the reviews saying the owner is rude or mean.

The worst food I’ve ever ate so far. The biriyani is very nasty and burnt on one side. When I asked the person he gave me a very rude answer. Just hated myself to go there.
I went to this place and the owner is very rude and not supportive to customers and also he is cursing customers.. from my experience I suggest finding another place is a better option spending your money here.
