I've heard people rave about this place and had high hopes, but it sadly fell way short of the soup dumplings I've at had Din Tai Fung on the West Coast and in Asia. I waited 30+ mins for my food but the dumplings were already cold and dry on the outside. The gentleman taking orders (owner?) was nice and hardworking, but one of the servers went between cleaning tables and working in the kitchen without using gloves or washing her hands.
INCREDIBLE soup dumplings! As a Taiwanese-American who’s tried xiao long bao from all over, I can confidently say this place is the real deal. The fresh dough is perfection, the soup inside is rich and flavorful, and every bite feels authentic and well-crafted. All beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp dumplings are excellent! Dumpling skins are chewy, and when you take a little bite, you taste the burst of hot, savory broth. So satisfying and warming in the cold weather😙
