I walked upward to this location with great enthusiasm excited to sing karaoke in the hopes I could get in early to sing. Right as I walked up to the door the person who was guarding the door to checking people in decided to comment on my appearance and began to use profanity and degrading language towards my sweater and to me when all I asked was “are they doing karaoke tonight?!” I was so taken back by the way this guy was treating me and I assume others as they enter this place and decided “if this is how I’m going to be treated on the outside of this place, then there is no way I feel safe going inside” I would not recommend this experience to anyone. The phrase “I’m just kidding” does not make it alright. I won’t be going back and it’s a shame bc I was really hoping for a place to enjoy.

Great place to drink, pool, and enjoy some karaoke. Got a back room for smokers with a pool table. Stan’s a great guy too.

Over the past three years I have frequented this bar, and I have to say it’s one of the hidden gems of our city. Stan’s is a slice of south city and has cemented itself as an iconic establishment. No two nights are the same, but you feel at home when you walk through the door. Love this place. The staff are top shelf.
