Crazy wait and they forget to fill your order. 30 minutes to get simple coffee

We go to Starbucks often, but this was an exceptionally bad experience. Made the mistake of not mobile ordering ahead of time, requesting two breakfast sandwiches and two coffes at the register and hoping to take it on the run to start our tourist day. It was a busy time, around 10:30am Saturday. We got the food in about 10 minutes, but the coffees took about 30 minutes - no explanation, no apologies. The next day we went to a restaurant and had a full breakfast for the same price (~$30). We paid a premium price for the convenience of Starbucks but they failed us miserably.

The cashier who took my drink order is the absolute rudest employee I’ve ever met. I placed my drink order and proceeded to sign the receipt. I signed it but there wasn’t much ink coming out. The cashier asked me to sign again and I told her the issue is there’s no ink in the pen. Instead of giving me a new pen to sign with, she gives me a pad to place my receipt on top of to sign. I told her once again, the issue is the pen and that it has no ink and that the pad isn’t going to change anything. Regardless, I just signed the receipt again with the same pen she returned to me and gave it to her. As I’m waiting for my coffee, I noticed that it’s taking an incredibly long time and people who were behind me are getting coffee before me. I go ask about the status of my coffee and that’s when the rude cashier shouts to the entire room full of people “You didn’t get your coffee because you didn’t pay”! I’m absolutely embarrassed and livid. I say back to her “I signed the receipt twice! I even told you your pen wasn’t working and your solution is to give me a pad”! I walk over and now she decides to give me a different pen and I sign the receipt. So this cashier was prepared to just let me wait for eternity until I asked about the status of my coffee? What kind of passive aggressive attitude is this to treat a customer who just wants some coffee? Serious etiquette and emotional training is necessary for this cashier. I’m shocked and disgusted by this interaction.

As someone with experience managing multiple Starbucks locations, I can confidently say this store is in urgent need of new management. I stayed over two weeks at a nearby hotel and visited frequently—each time was a disappointment. The store is consistently short-staffed, frequently out of food, and the filtered coffee is lukewarm (clearly in need of calibration). Cleanliness is lacking, with visible dust and dirt behind the registers and food displays. The overall Starbucks experience is completely missing.

This location has great potential—it’s in a high-traffic area near the convention center and surrounded by hotels. It could be a major revenue driver, but it’s currently falling short on every front.

P.S. For those having trouble finding it: the store is located inside the Marriott Grand.

Very disappointed. I arrived at 6:20 AM and the doors had just opened — even though that’s the posted opening time. On top of that, they didn’t accept my Starbucks app. Wow. Time is money, and this kind of inconsistency is frustrating. Either stick to the hours or update them on Google.

There are only four people working there, and the place is always packed. one of the staff members was very rude. If someone has an attitude and clearly doesn’t want to be there, maybe they shouldn’t be working. They didn’t refill the sugar, so I had to ask for some—and she only gave me two packets, which she threw onto the table without a word. Today, I said “excuse me,” and she turned her back on me. Very disappointing experience.

If you are looking for a true Starbucks experience this isn’t it. The coffee doesn’t taste like Starbucks, and if I am going to pay $5 for a simple small Pike Roast I’d hope it’s hot. The coffee was lukewarm.

During our trip here for the Nike MEQ, this Starbucks was amazing. They were well staffed and able to handle the influx of thousands of people attending. Their service was fast, friendly, and consistently good. One lady remembered our names every morning and afternoon as they were able to get our food and drinks out to us faster than any other place in downtown.

⚠️⚠️⚠️Worst non-partner starbucks location I've ever had an experience at. Both employees were very nonprofessional, made drinks hap hazardly, and even used his fingers on the lip of my cup to make my drink. save your money and go to the Starbucks in Hilton!!!

The worker seemed to be newer. Order from your app because first the worker overcharged me. And second they were making a dragon drink and used their finger to mix it. Didn’t even use a shaker…

I was in this Starbucks today. First tried to order the pistachio latte and was told they were out so I switched to the caramel macchiato. Also ordered a plain black coffee which the attendant got right away. We were in town for an event and just wanted coffee for the road. 45 minutes later, still no latte. At that time there were still 2 people that ordered in front of me that still had not gotten their coffee. I left without my latte or even asking about it. Ridiculous. I do not frequent Starbucks nor will I ever go to one again..

It’s the worst Starbucks i have ever visited. Unbelievable it takes more than 40min even its empty! I was there 2 times but each time they give me wrong drink after 40-60min! I hope some managers show this comment. Because there is a big problem here…
