We were just passing thru St Louis. We had hoped to do a riverboat cruise but had missed the last one so went to Starbucks instead. This Starbucks is located within the lobby of the Hyatt Regency hotel (the restrooms are actually in the.lobby of the hotel). There is a good amount of seating inside and of course it’s the usual Starbucks fare. The service was ok.
Very nice and convenient to have a Starbucks in the hotel but it would be nice if they were open later in the afternoon. They were sold out of some of their breakfast sandwiches by 7:30am and had quite a long line all morning -- it's great they have so many customers, but it'd be nice to see them better prepared to handle the rushes!
Took out coffee and breakfast items each day of a four night stay at the Hyatt. Friendly service. The Starbucks coffee and products were typical Starbucks, somewhat overpriced, but that was fine. Too many people not wearing a mask, despite signs. Of course, I don’t blame the restaurant for that occurrence. Only hiccup was the last morning they overlooked putting some breakfast items in their oven/warmer and what was supposed to be quick delivery, took 15 minutes.
