Steak 'n Shake (Temporarily Closed)

Every time i come here the wait in the drive through is crazy even if no one is in front of me there were 2 people inside eating and i went to to the window and paid for my food and it took them 15 minutes! With only a couple people inside eating and me in the drive through pretty sure it doesn't take 15 min to make a burger and shake

It was good sad that is closed now it had good service.

I miss steak and shake!!! Their cheesey fries were the best!!!!

I will NEVER go here again. We waited in the drive thru for 45 minutes. They had the back door open and all i saw were employees goofing off. When we finally got to the window, we didnt receive an apology for the wait at all. Contacted management and they never responded back to me. Very disappointing.

This is probably one of the best if not THE best Steak n Shake in the inner City area. Me and my wife go here at least once a week and we take the bus. It's on a very convenient bus route . Please support this chain location here. The staff is great and it's very clean plus they always get the orders right . You can't go wrong here. The management is great too. By far the best Steak n Shake in South City. Never overcrowded and a lot less shenanigans then the others.

Great service the food is always good. Prices are awesome. They really try to seat you as quick as possible when they are busy. They get to you very fast when they are not. The place is clean too.

Went to eat breakfast there after church, waitress checked with cook if there are any biscuits,cook said in 5 minutes it will be done. About half hour later cook comes out and says they have no biscuits or gravy because breakfast is almost over. So what was that about 5 minutes it will be done? I always thought they served breakfast all day. Long story short, we walked out after waiting almost an hour.

Been going to this one because I liked it. The waiters were good. Went there today and it looked like there was only 2 waitresses. We got in there, it wasnt busy by any means. But we waited awhile to be seated. the waitress came over and pointed at 1 table, so we sat down. There were about 2 other tables that were waiting to order before us. The 1 waitress was working and the other one was at the drink station not doing anything. Waited 10 minutes without even getting our drink order. So we left.

Some times its open, some times its not No way to tell. Really good food but it's randomly closed. Haven't been able to get breakfast at 8am this week but it says its open 24/7??! Got breakfast multiple times last week. I guess it's just closed some times....?
