Steak ’n Shake

This is, by far, the worst Steak n Shake restaurant I have ever eaten at. 1st visit, burger buns torn up and it was not hot, fries were not hot and 5 way chili was not hot. The manager gave me a $10 credit for next visit. Went different day at a different time. The burger was super salty, fries were not hot. Burger was remade, then it wss dripping with the mustard relish. They just don't care. I wouldn't be surprised to see this location closed. Disgusting!!!!

I ordered a single garlic burger and they didn't put any garlic sauce at all on my burger. I don't appreciate not getting what I ordered. I won't be back.

Used drive-thru. Other than waiting about 5 minutes to have my order taken with no line at the drive-thru, everything was great

I wish they were more consistent. I decided to keep coming back because my food was so good and so fresh, but sometimes the employees have trouble understanding the menu and will get an attitude because of it. I ordered a double steak burger with double cheese off the specialty menu, and the worker didn't understand so I repeated it three times and told them I wanted to make sure I get double cheese. I get to the window, paid, I get my burger without the second slice of cheese! When I told them, they said that she ringed me up for a number seven instead, and it didn't come with extra cheese and you'll have to order extra cheese. I repeated my order and told them It already came with extra cheese and asked to receive a receipt.The workers said that the receipt machine was broken and that she couldn't print me out a receipt. I told her ringing me up for the wrong order and not able to print me out of receipt doesn't add up. I can't even see what I just paid for and you wanna charge me for something extra that already comes with the meal! So she agreed and brought me out a second slice of cheese on the burger but by that time, it was already cold. A waste of time and money. Seems to be a hit or miss some days Good some days terrible.

Everything was great except for the high tech stuff that malfunctioned. There was a guy that couldn’t figure out how to work the kiosk but one of the workers came around to help him finally and then we couldn’t get the soda machine to work, even after we scanned our barcode. The food was hot and delicious so we didn’t mind the small inconveniences with tech.

I recently discovered the tallow fries at another location the night before I visited this location. The taste was like night and day. The fries did not taste as crispy, the color on some of the fries were brown. It seemed to me the oil was old and needed to be switched out. These seemed like fries cooked in regular oil. Do better, change the oil.
