I know that hot dogs are the main draw, but these are my new favorite french fries in the city. Skinny crinkle cut, fried golden crispy, with the perfect amount of salt.

Who ever said they had amazing hot dogs lied. As far as their Chicago style hot dog they should just name their version something else. You pay for the experience more so than the quality of the food. I’m still hungry

I visited this booth at the St. Louis Arch 4th of July celebration 2025. My hot dog was cold and not very tasty. My taste buds may have been impacted by the service. Standing in line, I could clearly hear other peoples orders and quoted prices. For instance, the person in front of me (a friend) ordered the $8 hot dog. She was charged $8. But when I ordered an $11 hot dog, I was charged $12. I asked the cashier (pictured) about the price increase, she said it was taxes. I then inquired why some people were being charged taxea and othera were not. The cashier and another employee tried gaslighting me as if I didn't understand the concept of taxes. My concern was not the tax itself, but the fact that not everyone was charged this tax. I should have known better when this place hardly had a line and all of the other food booths' lines were wrapped down the street. Highly disappointed. Put a damper on my evening.

Tried Steve's Hot Dogs for the first time this week. I had the St. Louis style dog value, but our party had at least six kinds of hotdogs. (Maybe we should have tried the flight of dogs). Taste was excellent on both mine and the smoked dog another person ordered. Options were very varied and inventive. Staff was wonderful and humored my nephew as he asked for a few things off the cuff. Would definitely go again and happy to see all they support.

It was my first time eating there, even though it was a pack house due to it being a meet and greet with Ozzie Smith and the owner I still enjoyed the food as well as meeting Ozzie Smith plus the owner. It was not only awesome but a blessing to meet Ozzie Smith, the owner and take pictures with them as well.
