Great staff, there's just way too much fat on the brisket. More fat than meat on my sandwich and on my 8 oz to go brisket. Really disappointed.
This place was good, I had the brisket platter with veggies and potato salad. The brisket was a bit dry as it looked like it was cooked a bit too long, but still good. The kids got the kids meal of a cheeseburger which was good. Fries were okay. The price was pretty decent considering it was right downtown. People working there were really friendly and served you with a smile, which always makes the experience much better.
I enjoyed being able to try all of the different sauces. Generous portions
Simply one of the BEST BBQ I have had the privilege to eat. Highly recommended by relatives that live locally and swore up and down that Sugarfire is the place locals go, and honestly I now know why.
1st off the food was plentiful as well as Simply, THE! BEST! BBQ! I'VE! EVER! TASTED!!!!
Next the staff were so kind and helpful plus very caring.
The atmosphere was also incredible showing off murals of Ray Charles plus so many great people from St. Louis.
I don't know when I'll make it out St. Louis again but I can't wait to enjoy your hospitality and food once again.
I loved the unique serving platter of St Louis style baby back ribs, brisket and a heaping helping of fries but the White Russian adult milkshake was absolutely the best dessert I've ever had!

This was my first time dining with this establishment. I wanted to see what all the hype was about. I must say the best thing about my experience was the 16oz green tea. For nearly $30 I got 3 of the smallest pieces of brisket and the salmon was hard and completely dry. I had more potato salad and fries than meat. The gentle serving the meat was pleasant but that’s about it. Definitely not worth the price to me and this is not anything I would want to experience twice. Would I recommend or return? Only for the green tea.

You order at the desk and then find an empty seat once you get your food. We did the 3 meat plate with pulled pork, ribs and brisket. It comes with two sides of your choice and a drink. I got the spaghetti and birria chili as my sides. Our favorite meat was by far the brisket. It was extremely tender and juicy. There are a ton of unique BBQ sauces to try on the tables with my favorite being the sweet sauce. All of this is overly filling so beware. We could’ve easily gotten the two meat plate and been full by the end. Three was too much for us but we just wanted to try more of the meats. Great restaurant with delicious meat and a huge variety of sides. Street parking only. Recommend to those looking for a very filling BBQ lunch in downtown St. Louis.

The good: the pulled pork Carolina sandwich was spot on tasty! Meat was tender. However found a rather large bone that could have broken a few teeth or choked someone to death.
Service was great though!!! Ty !
Hush puppies: ok I’m not from around here but y are there green flecks in them and why the jelly,?
Potato salad : meh. It was just ok.
Pecan. Pie: how is this not sweet? I was disappointed, wasn’t going to eat but I did so there’s that but kept hoping it would get sweeter.
Prices high…$30 for the above with drink.

Had to get St. Louis BBQ and I enjoyed every bit of it. Please get the baked beans! And my partner enjoyed the brisket. They have 5 sauces on the table for you to try, my favorite was the honey badger and the Texas heat! Fantastic staff.
