Sugo's Spaghetteria Reviews
Late dinner - we were in the mood for something Italian - food is fabulous - we choose lasagna and risotto - both dishes were yummy and plenty left over for lunch tomorrow - FYI: Their salad are the best!!
Kayla and the house staff were fabulous as well… we will be back soon…
ZERO STARS. We drove 30 minutes to specifically eat at Sugo’s because the menu looked great and my husband and I had a really hard week and we wanted to treat ourselves to a nice meal. Sugo's Spaghetteria is a hidden gem in Frontenac, perfect for work dinners and trying something new. The shared parking lot provides easy access, and the service, though sometimes a bit confused, is friendly and accommodating. The Garlic Focaccia bread is a unique twist, served with basic oil options. The Toasted Ravioli and Chicken Spiedini are both delicious, with the marinara sauce being a standout. The lasagna is described as the best ever had in a restaurant. The pizza is a must-try, good both fresh and leftover. This Italian restaurant offers authentic and fresh food, rotating specials, and a great drink menu with imported wines and seasonal cocktails. The space features both indoor seating and a patio, which is cute but overlooks the parking lot. The bread and olive oil with parm are highly appreciated, and the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. Many guests find the prices reasonable, and the service fast, friendly, and courteous. Overall, Sugo's remains a favorite spot in Saint Louis for many, with a reputation for great food and a nice setting.
