Take a date to dinner. By 8pm the entire place was dead. Says they close at 9 but the entire stuff was rushing to leave at only 8pm. Tried to order a drink at 8:30 and sit and talk but was told they are closing soon. It’s great they only are open from 4:30 till 9 and can do a great business in those hours. However; the staff is lacking drive and good work ethic for only putting in a 4 1/2 hour day. I would say if your only open 4.5 hours one might think you would be performing at an elevated level the entire time.

They charge 19 bucks for a Margherita pizza that has nothing to do with pizza.. not recommended at all if you're looking for a pizza

Wonderful and reasonably priced Italian. Don't let the location in Frontenac fool you. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good. The service was fast, friendly, and courteous. They have a pretty large covered patio when the weather is good. Indoors is very pleasant. Large space with lots of tables. Will be back!

Inexplicably crowded for largish portions of mediocre to bad pasta. How tough is it to serve decent bolognese? Pretty cheap prices for the area I guess, but there are dozens of better Italian spots.

I would like to leave a better review, we cannot seem to even get a takeout or delivery order. There is no place we can seem to place the order online, and it says to not do it over the phone, then immediately hangs up making you leave a message. If you leave a message they don't even respond or reply to it. I would like to see an easier to contact the restaurant, or just allow us to make a takeout order. Edit since owner response: Thank for replying, is there some way you can let customers know that over the phone so we know when we go to call you. It would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Sugo's more holds their own with the best Italian places in the area. And they do so by not trying to out-hip the foodie hipsters. They don't get too tricky, and they nail it every time. Service could stand a little enthusiasm injection...the vibe is pleasant. It's a fabulous place for a nice first date, in that it won't interfere with getting to know someone; it's not a festive or romantic place (unless you're not all that festive or into romance). Funghi pasta is not to be missed...be prepared to share, even if you won't want to. Frontenac is lucky to have Sugo's. 4.25 STARS.

Food excellent as always. Service was also excellent. HOWEVER the restaurant allowed a large group, including about 8-10 young boys to sit in our room. The boys were the most unruly and misbehaved I have seen in a long time, and despite our comments to our waitress, management did nothing while the adults at that table ignored the excessive noise.

I loved the service. I was able to get a seat without a reservation. My server was very attentive and kind. The atmosphere at the restaurant was also friendly.
However the food, was nothing amazing to me…I barely stomached the entree. It wasn’t good at all and didn’t smell good.
