As someone with family from Taiwan, I’ve been repeatedly let down by the quality of most American bubble tea shops—so many rely on artificial powders and lack the care that goes into a truly great drink. But this place is different. You can taste the real ingredients: high-quality tea, perfectly cooked boba with that ideal chew, and none of the overly sweet, artificial shortcuts.
It’s rare to find a spot in the U.S. that gets it right, but this one does. If you want an indulgent, authentic Asian drink experience, this is the place.

After trying many of the boba tea spots between Highway 170 and the edge of Forest Park, this is by far my favorite spot to go. It's simple. 1. The tea options are delicious and easy to understand. 2. You don't pay two arms and a foot for every topping you want, like other tea shops. 3. They give rewards, so it makes too much sense to get your tea here. And 4. Everyone there is super friendly, which makes it an easy choice to come back.
Don't go to some other tea house. Go to Sum Tea House.

This place is awesome and so cute! I came in because I passed by it all the time and the name always caught my eye and finally had the time to make a stop. The ladies inside were so helpful helping me choose a drink I'd like. The ube with matcha was great and she even reminded me to shake it up before I drank it. Great service and even better tea!!! Will be back soon.

Boba was good and atmosphere was even better! Elaine was especially friendly and it was nice nerding out and chatting about games and the decor (which was Genshin and anime themed when we visted). Great for stopping by and sitting in.

The fresh taro milk tea with real taro pudding is exactly what I’ve been looking for and is absolutely amazing. I’ve had a lot of good boba coming from Texas but this place honestly might be in the top places I’ve ever tried. 100% worth the ratings
Super cute little hidden gem. The service is always pleasant & timely. Orders can be placed ahead on the app but the walk-in experience is an efficient. The tea is made fresh, made to order & customizable to suit your likeness. I personally love love LOVE the jasmine green tea with a dab a sweetness. Not a huge food menu but certainly perfect snackables. I enjoyed the vegetable egg rolls.

What a charming little milk tea house run by a very friendly, hardworking family. Lots of Demon Slayer memorabilia to feast the eyes on as well as food worth feasting for, especially the Crab Rangoon, which was one of the most savory ones I've had. It's very rare to find Crab Rangoon that is not on the sweet side, and this definitely satisfied me.
I recommend the ginger milk tea with 25% sweetness. Pairs very well with the Rangoon and helps ease an aching stomach after a heavy meal. I can't wait to come back to this place to try everything. Delicious.
