The coffee wasn’t up to the hype for me. The espresso was very bitter and I couldn’t taste the flavors of it at all. My friend got a latte that was so milky she couldn’t taste the coffee at all. She went to mention it and just ordered another shot which took over 10 minutes to get done. I felt like it had a really pretentious vibe too lol, like I don’t need the baristas to be my besties but I felt like me and my friends were a bother?? Like not welcome. Just overall don’t recommend.

The pastries were delicious!

Unfortunately I ordered 2 cortados and they were both bitter, over extracted perhaps. That was the most bitter cortado I've had in STL to date.

Over hyped.

The employees had horrible attitudes and customer service.

Both order were made incorrectly. I didn’t care to fix it because they were mad we asked for a cup of ice.

Alt-milk options for coffees was difficult for the cash register employee to do.

This place is great, if you like to be shamed for adding heavy cream to your coffee ? “we don’t do that”

Edit: ok I tried them again for just beans. I gotta say at 25$ for 8oz I expected better. Not special at all, tastes like the stuff I got from blueprint for 1/2 the price

Ordered an oatmilk cortado. I really liked their merchandaise designs, but unfortunately its all cheaply made. Nice vibe for a chat but not for doing work. Seemingly uncaring, offstandish staff. They will choose who is welcome. Decent coffee. Smooth espresso but not a great taste. Tried this place one other time and had a weird feeling about it, but that time I came in close to closing time so I thought I'd try again- same unwelcoming feeling. I can't say that I'd like to come back. ?

Staff is chill! But the chai is watery and almost $8 for an 8 oz one with oat milk.

Coffee was delicious, many options, not crowded at all on the weekend. Chill spot to hang with friends. Definitely get something more unique here instead of your regular order.

Years ago I ordered a coffee here. It was single origin that they prepare fresh. I asked for half and half on the side.

Five minutes later the coffee comes out and I say, “oh could I get that half and half?”

The barista looks at me sideways and says, “did you want to try it first?”

I mimed drinking and enthusiastically enjoying it, then said, “can I get that half and half?”

All this to say, they’re intense, but they care about their coffee. Its for the better.

Probably the best coffee roaster in stl.

Best coffee in town - they always bring out interesting flavors in the pour over coffees and cold brews
