Much better under new service. We enjoyed everything especially the crispy Brussels sprouts. Tenders are delicious.

We tried Juniper's newish concept Sunday Best for Sunday brunch last week and were so impressed! The fried chicken is as wonderfully crispy & juicy as ever, and the brunch dishes were amazing. We got both chicken options, the chicken & waffles and the chicken biscuit. My husband is a self proclaimed chicken & waffles connoisseur, and he said these are some of the best he's had. The chicken is the perfect level of spice, and the honey provides a great balance. The chicken biscuit was also incredible- it's one of those layered so high biscuits that you end up just eating it all with a fork. All of the cheese, pepper jelly, mayo & the egg smothered on the chicken is perfection. And the breakfast potatoes are a 12/10! So crispy with a little bit of spice. We love to see that the food is just as good at this new more casual concept! We would definitely bring our toddlers here and hope to do so for dinner soon!

I really enjoyed this place... I thought long and hard about this review before I wrote it. So my husband and I went to Sunday's Best on Valentines just to try something different. When you first walk in the atmosphere is very calm and welcoming. We didn't have a reservation and was still able to be seated . Our server greeted us admittedly and was very nice (The whole staff was nice). So we began to look over the menu and we chose a shared Entree the whole chicken and we did half and half, meaning 4 pieces spicy and 4 pieces plan. We also ordered the Mac and cheese and collard greens. I also had the wedge salad. Food came out very quickly and everything looked really nice. The Spicy favor for the chicken is a hit, the sauce made the chicken. Plan was just plan ‍ The Mac and cheese was good and the collard greens were also (They are sweet) I just added the spicy sauce and pepper to my greens to southern it up a little. So my overview of everything. Food was Great, Service was Excellent, Price Above Average. If I could correct one thing it would be having to pay for your sides, I feel like if you have Entree's you should at least get 2 sides free and charge for the extra sides, Cause just paying $38 alone for an 8 piece of chicken and then $5(half) $12(full) portion for the sides is crazy. But that's just my opinion, I love the restaurant and I will be going back. Sorry for the long review.

One of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in STL. For $15 that was 100 percent worth

Food is fantastic and quality is consistent. It’s hard to choose a favorite dish,, but I have to say I am partial to their shrimp and grits. A great atmosphere and we always feel like we are appreciated by everyone from the hostess, to the wait staff and the manager.

The food is nice but overpriced. It's just chicken after all. More importantly, there are frequently missing items when I place online orders. There is also a strange correlation between the amount of tip you give and the chances of a missing item...the lower the tip, the more likely that an item will be missing.

Yummy!! I went to lunch with a friend today and I'm so glad that I picked Sunday's best. It's in a great location if you're in the central west end and looking for a quick bite. We receded quickly and the service was so polite and they got us everything we needed fast. Everything was hot and fresh! The aïoli on the sandwich was fantastic along with the perfectly cooked bacon and chicken thigh. It was so crisp, but so juicy!! Beef, fries are perfection, and even is the mac & cheese!!! My friend brought her one-year-old and it is definitely kid approved. She even did a little dance while she took bites!! Collard greens were also great. I can't wait to go back and try the apps!

Pros: delicious food, great service, cool decor inside Cons: having to hear my significant other constantly talk about how good their spicy chicken is We had a great visit to Sunday Best. We had a reservation and were seated right when we arrived. We ordered a ton of food to share so we could try lots of their menu. We tried the chicken tenders, the Cobb salad, a smash burger and a whole chicken. I LOVE that you can get just part of your order hot. I am not great with super spicy food, but being able to do one tender spicy and two original is a game changer. Perfect for those spice-sensitive like myself who love spicy flavor but can't handle a ton. You can also do this with the whole chicken - we got a thigh and a wing spicy and the rest original. All of the chicken was amazing. Extremely juicy, really flavorful with the perfect crunchy outside. The burger was buttery with a little hint of spice. I love that the Cobb salad comes with a ton of herbs. It was the perfect freshness to go with all of the fried food we ordered. I would order everything we had again, but honestly after seeing other orders come out I want to try everything on the menu. It all looked amazing. I've got my eyes on the pimento cheese and Smokey catfish dip starters for our next visit! My only complaint (which is minor and would never stop me from coming back) is that soft drinks don't have free refills. We weren't aware of this and got charged for each soda. Not a big deal but I would have liked it to be noted on the menu so we would have known before we got the bill.

Would visit Sunday Best frequently (for dinner and brunch) during my month's stay in St. Louis. Recently came back to the city and made sure that this restaurant was my first stop! Everything was just as delicious as I had remembered. The vibes are very cozy and the food is super flavorful. Even more importantly, the service is incredible. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Shout out to Anthony for making my last two visits here extra special. Highly recommend Sunday Best!!!

I just visited Sunday Best tonight and will not be returning!! The location is in the CWE and while speaking with other patrons discovered that SB is formerly Junipers. The good: great location and nice vibe of the place. There’s a bar immediately when you walk in and seating to the left. The place had a nice crowd but we were still seated immediately. We ordered the chicken sandwich which comes with fries, the 1/2 chicken original, and roasted beets. Now believe me when I say the chicken sandwich was very good. The dill of the pickles slices (I love a pickle) with the smoky mayo, and chicken were a great combo. The fries were hot, with a nice crisp (I also love a crisp). The chicken also had a nice crunch but it’s going to be a no. In my opinion it lacked flavor and my breast seemed surprisingly dry, almost where it seems like older cooked meat, but I’m in no way saying I think their serving old meat, but I just got a bad one. The server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu however, at two separate times we asked for something and then had to remind her. Remember, I thought the chicken lacked flavor? Well I asked for some hot sauce and literally 3-5 minutes later she returns and asks what she was supposed to bring again. I also asked for additional mayo. This is why I won’t be returning to the restaurant. The server brings me the additional mayo, which as you can imagine is in a small plastic ramekin. We use a small amount because it is after mayo and didn’t need much more. Well imagine my surprise when I’m brought the check and there is a charge of $1 for the mayo. I’ve eaten and many many places over many many years and have never in my life been charged for mayo. I ask the server about the charge and she’s responds that they charge for all of their sauces. Now this ramekin of mayo looked and tasted like regular mayo and that’s honestly what I thought it was and even mentioned to the other party, “I thought she would bring the smoky mayo but maybe she thought I meant regular.” I asked the server about my mayo and she told me that it was the smoky mayo. My recommendation was that they should advise customers that there is a charge for mayo when additional mayo is requested because I think it’s extremely poor customer service to charge a customer for a condiment, but not make them aware of it before hand. I even mentioned it to the manager after I paid the bill and left a tip that I was very disappointed in that type of experience, and that customers should be informed of additional charges like that. The manager was extremely cavalier in his response, and while he wasn’t rude, he definitely presented a ‘I don’t care attitude.” The fact that I was charged for condiment, and not made aware of the charge beforehand really does not sit right with me. Coupled with the fact that management didn’t seem concerned about my dining experience are the reasons that I will not return to Sunday Best.
