Flavors were amazing! Ordered the Castacan tacos and Tamal Colado. Perfectly cooked! Great sauces. Little pricey, but good. Take the hot sauce. Just ease into it!

Don’t go here, it’s not good and crazy expensive. I was initially excited when I saw al pastor roasting on a spit with a pineapple on top. So I ordered the tacos, and asked for no cilantro. Even though I was paying $14 for 2 tacos, they scoffed and were clearly annoyed that I requested that. Then, much to my dismay, they didn’t use the Al pastor that was on the spit but got some out of the cooler and heated it up on the flat top. Even though I was confused, I was still excited to have some good Al pastor. Unfortunately, it was some of the most flavorless pork I’ve ever had. Truly a disappointing experience

True authentic Mexican fare! This is rare find in the midwest. You definitely need to try the hibiscus drink!

The food was tasty but the tacos were small and very expensive for what it was. They were out of the vegetarian option.

Always kind people, great food with big flavors, and reasonable prices at SURESTE. Between their site at The Foundry and their main restaurant, this team makes the absolute best Mexican food in the area!

I got the El Pastor tacos. They were amazing. Some of the most flavorful tacos i have ever had. They were cooked to order, so it took about 5 minutes. It was a somewhat modest portion for the price, but they were so good I didn’t care. Service was also top notch.

Great spot for lunch. There are also several other options around. I got lunch here and dessert from somewhere else. Love that their entire menu is gluten-free.

I would like to apologize to this wonderful restaurant for my sister leaving a bad review. It wasn't their fault that a wrong dasher took our food and didn't deliver it. This restaurant is actually the best Mexican food I had since El Borro that was downtown. The first time I went there he told me everything was good from the margarita to the food. My friend and I had several things and everything was perfect and good like he said. If you want Mexican food please come here. You won't regret it.☺️

Worst Mexican food I have ever had in my life. I would have been better off eating grass and onions🥴

Friendly staff. All the food is gluten-free. The chips are “thick”.

Stopped at The Foundry Food Hall before the City game. Ordered sight unseen from the website as I was reserving a table. 4 tacos was a bit much as they are a little larger than regular street tacos. Regardless, I smashed 2 shrimp and 2 pork tacos. Very tasty. I will be back for sure. Added a pic of the tray of 6 tacos from 03/15/2025: 2 Shrimp, 2 Al Pastor, 2 pork. Soooo good.
