We read all the negative reviews on this place before we came but we wanted to give it a shot with an open mind because we are looking for new sushi places. Well we had a bad experience. Three different times, on three different rolls, there was plastic from the plastic wrap that they use to roll sushi. The first time I wasn’t looking so I actually took it out of my mouth. After that we inspected each bite and found two more. There was also about a 4 inch long hair in one of the rolls. Some of the avocado was pretty brown but that doesn’t bother us. The restaurant is pretty dated and not clean. Bathrooms are very messy. Our waiter was awesome though. The plastic and the hair is not acceptable. I would trust the reviews and not go here.

I had a rainbow sushi roll and a St Louis roll. Both were good. The fish tasted and looked fresh. There were a lot of ppl, but we were able to be seated pretty fast. After being seated, food came within abt 15/20mins.

This is the second time that I've had the rude server as my waiter. After observing him I'm coming to the conclusion that he might not like Black people. He's completely rude. Glasses are left empty until you can catch him to refill it. He never comes back to check on the table. However, the tables with non Black customers he appears to be very attentive. Each time I've had to ask for ginger and wasabi. I watched my sushi sit on the counter while he walked around. He then proceeded to pick up my food move it to the counter and then walk away and go take another order. Before anyone tries to claim that maybe I was rude to him first, I wasn't. He snatched the all you can eat list from my table with an attitude. The food is great but I'll probably not come back if he's working because I really don't appreciate spending my money for bad service.

Great sushi in the heart of downtown St Louis. I highly recommend the all you can eat sushi menu. I had a mix of appetizers and rolls and was impressed with every dish bought out. The St. Louis roll, by far was my favorite. Can't wait to visit again.
The service is friendly but the food made me very sick. I had an Alaska roll and spicy tuna roll and got terrible food poisoning, where I spent the next two days in my hotel room unable to leave.

I really enjoyed this sushi restaurant. I tried the Popup and Fried Philadelphia rolls. As an app I had the edamame and gyosa. All of it was flavorful, fresh, and quite filling. I felt the prices were good too. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly. The restaurant was well taken care of with a comforting atmosphere. I can't wait to come back to try all the different rolls they have to offer!

Staff was friendly. ROACH PROBLEM. Location is small dank dimly lit. Walked in peak dinner hours: Empty. The menus are water logged like they say in water and wrinkled over night. Teriyaki tasted like burnt sugar water with excessive veggies in bento box. Ate oranges out of Bento 15$ and a roach crawled out. Mngr comped meal I paid for tea. 5$ Nothing was good really. Go anywhere not here. It’s a dump.
