Love the sweets and the savories at SweetArt. Our favorite burgers are the Sweet Burger and the Make it Funky Burger. I love the Big Mama cinnamon bun and always have to check out their cupcake selection. Their new location is spacious and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! There was a wide variety of options for meals. Everything we tried was delicious and so flavorful. The atmosphere was very relaxed. Also a big fan of the cupcakes!
This place is one of my faves! Today I had the jerk grilled oyster mushroom taco--don't miss this, it's too good. We also loved our vegan baked goods!

TYPICAL BAKE & SWITCH (BAIT & SWITCH). I KNOW A GOOD BAKERY/CAFE WHEN I TASTE ONE AND FOR THEIR PRICES, THEIR PRODUCTS PLAIN IN MY OPINION. THEY MAKE UP FOR THE TASTE WITH THE CLEAN ATMOSPHER AND THE NICE CASHIER (EVEN THOUGH THEY DONT TAKE CASH) . I NEVER UNDERSTOOD ACCEPTING MY CASH AS A TIP BUT NOT TO PAY FOR MY ORDER (ANOTHER BAIT AND SWITCH IJS LOL). THIS CAFE IS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT EXPERIENCED WITH A FINE CAFE WITH TRULY DELICIOUS GOODS. SWEET ART FOOD TASTES CHEAPLY MADE WITH LABOR AND OVERHEAD BUILT INTO THEIR PRICES. BUT HEY IM JUST ONE CUSTOMER :)

This place has amazing vegan food and dessert! My only complaint is that they cannot do alot to modify meals for people who are gluten free. Very limited. My favorite meal is the tacos which you can get on corn tortillas. This is a great place to take a group of friends to enjoy a relaxed meal with laughter and good conversation. Its also a great place for intimate conversation and solo introverted time. This is one of my 9 year old sons favorite plaxes to eat! Super kid friendly. Lots of space. They make food to order but its not a long wait. Maybe 15 mins. Garenteed to be fresh and delicious! Great staff who are happy yo be there! Also great drinks (coffee)!

Today I ordered the kale Caesar salad for the first and last time. The cashew dressing was tasty. Definitely not worth $17 though. A few kale leaves chopped up with a slice of red onion and a few cherry tomatoes halfed. It was supposed to include croutons too, but when I returned to my office to eat, I found they forgot to include them in the salad. Seriously, while a business may not be able to control inflation and charging high prices, it is in their control to ensure their customers receive what was ordered.

The staff, FOOD, and atmosphere grant SweetArt the status to be recognized as one the best not only “Vegan Restaurants” but one the “Best Restaurants” in St. Louis hands down! Everything on the menu is amazing and the SWEETS!!!!!! The best cakes, pastries, cookies, and cupcakes you will ever find! Even non-vegans love everything about this place!!!!! And last but not least, THAT HUMMINGBIRD CUPCAKE!!!!!! Salute!!!!!

My new go-to vegan spot in the Lou!!! If you’re looking for some good vegan soul food, a different taste, good quality desserts and pastries, then you’ll definitely want to try them out! I tried the Maya Angelou plate. It comes with your option of fried cauliflower, crispy plant based chicken tenders, or fried mushrooms, and two sides of your choice such as kale salad, cashew mackin cheese, and more options. And get this, the whole menu is VEGAN! I highly recommend the gluten free mackin cheese with whatever you choose. I also tried the Zora Neale Hurston crispy chicken sandwich. I cannot tell you how much this place did not disappoint! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying to the last bite!! The staff there is very nice and helpful. You would be doing yourself a great service stopping at this place! Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great quality and clean. What more could one ask for..
