We toured the facility yesterday and had a great time. It was easy to see that the people here love what they do and are very proud of their product. While they are "newer" to the spirit game, they have some wonderful future plans for their facility and are very invested in their community. Joe was an excellent host, and the tasting was great. Go ahead and schedule a tour and enjoy!
I can't rave about this company enough. They create and sell an exceptional product and have some of the most real, down to earth, and interactive staff. I am a fan. Try the Copperhead!
Recently went on a tour of the distillery. Joe was a wonderful guide and was knowledgeable of not only Switchgrass, but many other local craft brewers, coffee roasters and bars! I am not a bourbon/whiskey drinker but the Switchgrass bourbons and whiskeys may just change that - I particullarly liked the Gold Dust bottled cocktail.
Enjoyed the tour at Switchgrass, with the capable and fun, Joe, our guide! Highly recommend!
We had a great tour at their Welston facility set in an old Legion Hall. The wooden arched roof reminds me of the Arena. They have an obvious passion for Rye and Bourbon spirits. My fav was the four year aged Bourbon. I look forward to some of the Bourbon in the years ahead as it ages further.
Did a tour today with Joe, and he was awesome! Sampled a great variety of their offerings. Took home a bottle of their apple Brandy, Gold Dust and Soiluna coffee whiskey.
Great time doing the tour and tasting. Fun to learn their process of making whiskey.
Great tour led by a great guy! They offered a sample of several of their labels and I enjoyed each one o tried. I purchased two bottles as well as two Glencarin glasses. Only drawback of the tour was climate control. Building temperature is mostly control by fans and windows. It was a rather warm day but it was not unbearable, and if I was dressed a little bit cooler myself, it probably wouldn’t have been as bad. I plan to come back and do the tour again SOON, but next time I’ll be prepared with light clothing and a jug of ice water.
We just took the tour with Joe. Fantastic distillery, awesome product, and a great time!
Excellent tour! Our tour guide Joe was phenomenal and extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the distillation process. I got a chance to meet the team at the Tower Grove Farmer's Market, and I am so glad to have the opportunity to visit them at their facility where all the magic happens! I really enjoy their wide selection of products and look forward to their new releases.

Run, don't walk, to take a tour with Joe. It's not often that you come across someone who's found their calling in life. I believe this describes Joe and every other member of the Switchgrass squad. They believe in their product and cut no corners to deliver the best locally sourced flavor at a reasonable price.
I just want to say that switchgrass spirits is an amazing company ran by amazing people I highly recommend this company and think that they should be a part of everyone’s celebrations. You cannot go wrong with this company.
Great way to spend the afternoon in STL. Switchgrass tour was really fun … and our guide Joe was the bomb! Entrepreneurial owners who are working hard to deliver great tasting bourbons and ryes while making a difference in STL. Get out here and show your support. You won’t be disappointed. We had a blast!
So much fun. Our tour guide, Joe, was so engaging. The bourbons and ryes were really good. We bought 4 bottles at the end of the tour and look forward to adding them to our collection at home. Highly recommend to anyone that enjoys supporting STL small business. These guys are great!
We did the tour at Switchgrass today and it was amazing! Our tour guide Joe provided expert insight on how Switchgrass distills their many different bourbons, ryes, and bottled cocktails. We learned so much and had a lot fun tasting the different spirits. Joe did a great job describing each whiskey and provided fun details on the different tasting notes and flavors of each spirit. 10/10 would go again!
