Went here for my pre-birthday dinner and as a first timer, I enjoyed it. My partner got a reservation for us at the bar and it was certainly worth it. Will be back Again. Also, thank you to Dwight for serving us and making great recommendations from apps to entrees. I got the elk with roasted potatoes and my partner had gotten the filet.

Our group of 5 had an amazing time celebrating Galentines Day. Our server Amanda was amazing offering great meal and drink suggestions. We loved our food and beverages so much we rated most things 10/10. We will be back just for the sake of food and service alone.

The food and service are great! This is a must try when visiting St. Louis. They do a nightly small plate surf and turf that is fantastic and a perfect portion.

Unassuming yet excellent restaurant. We go once or twice a year and always have a great experience. We would go more but the cost is out of our budget - and it is worth every penny. Attentive service and a menu that looks conventional at first glance but each dish has something that elevates it and furthermore everything is good. Thankful this place is open.

Do yourself a favor and reserve a chef's side table. Come for the food, atmosphere and enjoy watching the chefs cook in front of you! As was our last visit this visit was equally special and the good delectable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The Tavern used to be our favorite place for a nice evening. We’ve been going for almost 10 years, special occasions, date nights. For the past few years, every visit is more disappointing than the last. Just went tonight for dinner, ordered both specials, and the food was just plain bad. We had a very early reservation so they weren’t busy. Just zero flavor to the food and overcooked. We walked out unsatisfied (minus the drinks and service) and $200 poorer. Unfortunately, we’ve decided we won’t be back which makes us both sad but, fool me twice…

Wonderful meal with delicious and stunningly beautiful food! High quality comes at a price, but tonight's dinner was exceptional and the entire family loved it!
