Tequila Mexican Restaurant

The food and service were great! We loved the chips and salsa. It was really loud in the restaurant though and we could barely hear each other across the table.

It's so hard to find a good Mexican restaurant in the Oakville area. Food was good, service was quick and the chips hot and fresh. Paid 12.00 for a large burrito and enchilada with refried beans and rice. Wasn't too crowded when we went for lunch at 11 and our server kept our drinks and chips filled. One thing I like about this restaurant is the beef that they use it's not chunky like the stuff you get at other Mexican restaurants but it's fine ground and more juicy. Not sure if it comes in frozen or if they make everything from scratch. Regardless I highly suggest if you are looking for a good Mexican restaurant or just wanting a place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo tequila Mexican has you covered

My mom and I both got shredded chicken on our meals, and hers was the quesadilla, and mine was an enchilada, and the chicken was so dry. My mother only ate a couple bites. It was unfortunate because we had ordered out and picked it up.

My husband and I have been coming here weekly for years. The food is always fantastic, the service is top-notch, and the staff consistently go above and beyond. As any parent knows, dining out with little ones can be… an adventure. But after a long work week, we really look forward to our weekend dinners out — and we’ve learned to embrace the chaos. This weekend, our usual “Mexican Friday” at Tequila’s took an unexpected turn. My daughter grabbed a broken chip and began choking — a truly terrifying moment. Thankfully, my husband quickly stepped in and helped her, but the episode left her so shaken that she started gagging and then projectile vomited… all over me. As I rushed her to the restroom to get us cleaned up, the Tequila’s staff immediately jumped into action. They brought paper towels, damp cloths, checked on us, and even offered to remake our food in case it had been affected. They also made sure my daughter was okay, showing genuine care and concern. And just when I thought I’d have to leave in my soiled shirt, a staff member brought me a clean Tequila’s t-shirt and a bag for my dirty clothes — such a thoughtful gesture that made a huge difference. Dining out with kids is hard enough. It’s rare to encounter people who not only see that, but step in to help with such kindness and empathy. The Tequila’s team could’ve easily handed us some extra napkins and moved on — but they didn’t. They went out of their way to make sure we felt supported, not embarrassed. To the amazing team at Tequila’s: thank you for your compassion, service, and for making us feel so cared for. We’re truly grateful.

Very nice place with great food. The cheese sauce with the chips is great. Enchiladas are great. Chimichangas are great. Tacos are great. Everything is great.

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. They’re doing it right. The tomatillo salsa 🔥and queso..match made in heaven. And whatever seasoning they use for the fajita veggies is amazing. Always a 10/10. Service is great, people are friendly and the place is clean 👌🏼

Very clean bathroom and in general. Service was fast but not rushed. Margheritas are amazing and layout of restaurant can accommodate large parties and smaller areas allow for a slightly more private dining experience with options of booths vs tables.

Food has always been great, normally get the grilled chicken salad or the steak fajitas. Chips and salsa, and cheese dip can be addicting, may cause you to take half your entree home. Staff is top notch! Never had any issues, food comes to the table quickly and hot. Only thing that can be seen as a con, it can get loud during dinner/the evening.
