Tasty menu which I indulge occasionally but mostly avoid due the the high level of sodium in the food. Very salty. Not really healthy though tasty. Like all fast food its good to use sparingly

Visited for the first time for a to-go order and AAAHHHHH!!! So good! The atmosphere is dark and fun, the staff are friendly, it was easy to find even though I’m not familiar with the area, and it’s all vegan-friendly!! My uncle(an avid hunter) thought the Carnal Asada taco was the real deal! Total win for me and shows that the only thing truly terrifying here is how close to the “real deal” their in-house seitan recipes are! (Sidenote: I didn’t try to fool my uncle; he just forgot that I’d told him I was stopping at an all vegan joint). Everything I tried was flavorful and satisfying, with plenty of larger options if you’re really hungry. A must-visit spot in St. Louis for anyone craving creative vegan food. Really cool vibe. A little dark, a little spooky. Themed with horror movies (not so much metal) and each table is its own theme. You order from a QR code unique to your table and the food is brought to you. Really solid taco fare. Can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I are both eating vegan food and have other dietary restrictions so finding food out to eat is next to impossible. ....until we found Terror Tacos! My word! I had no idea when we went how cool the place would be. The decor. The music. The movies. And hell yeah the food ! I even got a non dairy horchata. He had a Mexican mule (like a Moscow mule but with tequila, served in a skull glass!) We shared a large order of nachos and had two tacos each. And that was definitely too much so we had some to snack on later at the Airbnb. There were quite a few items made with seitan which we sadly couldn't try because it contains gluten. But going there and getting a sense of the decor, it makes sense why they use it a lot. And we obviously still found plenty we could try in spite of that. I would highly recommend this place if you are vegetarian or vegan and like anything taco related. If you are not into horror movies or heavy metal then you may want to get takeout. But we absolutely loved the experience and would be regulars if we lived closer!

Delicious food (my faves are carnage asada and citrus mistress), good value, and a fun atmosphere. Try to check the menu before you go, because it can be a little overwhelming. The first time that I went I totally ordered. Parking can be tricky, so be prepared to walk a bit or bring a friend if getting takeout.

Incredible place, even more incredible food. I'm not a vegan, and admittedly I had hesitations, but I took a chance on a fright of 5 tacos and it was absolutely delicious, ate every single taco quickly. I tried the Quesabirria and Basic Witch, flavor, texture is all there, it may not be exactly the same, but still I wasn't missing a single thing from actual meat, or cheese/sour cream too! I still got so much satisfying creamy tanginess out of it. Even if you're not a vegan, this is a Taco/mexican place you shouldn't miss or skip.

We love this place! Our favorite is the Texas BBQ Massacre! Absolutely delicious! The decore and atmosphere are spot on! Seeing a little tabletop standee of BrainScan was such a throwback! Everytime we come to St. Louis it is an obvious stop for us. My husband was recently sent up here to the hospital from Joplin and as soon as we found out he could eat I knew right were he was going to send me to pick up food. They were so accommodating and even sent a small gift to cheer up my husband and it did! Thank you so much! You guys are amazing!

What I liked: the absolute commitment to the aesthetic! It's like a spirit Halloween threw up in the best way! Lots of nods to horror icons. Loud metal music which I didn't mind, but my elderly mother in her Sunday best found it grating (lol). Good, prompt service with the ability to order from your phone. Variety of options and portions size were also good. When the menu says spicy, IT MEANS SPICY!

What I didn't like: I'm so sorry but the food was not it for me 😔 The faux meats were neither a convincing replacement nor good on their own merit. I absolutely wanted to love it as a 5-year vegan. The rest of the foods like tortillas and toppings were really good quality and also delicious. I feel like the same recipe with different plant proteins would make this place even better!
I would consider eating here again.
