We held our wedding at The Thaxton and had an amazing experience! The venue is breathtaking and unique, the staff is attentive and fun, and the price was very reasonable. If you are looking for a really cool place to hold a small wedding or special event, we highly recommend considering The Thaxton! Our guests are still talking about how great great the wedding was!
A fun little club, even for an old boring couple like us. Bartenders were the bee's knees. The vibe was the cat's pajamas - Prohibition-era basement gin mill speakeasy. You probably even see a few gents dressed to the nines in their suspenders, bow ties, and dames all dolled-up in flapper dresses.

The best speakeasy in StL, and definitely one of the coolest spots for a drink I’ve ever been to anywhere!
