Fantastic food definitely worth a visit. I had the chicken biscuits and gravy with paprika oil which was so good! The space is small so might not be good if you have a large group

The Biscuit Joint is a great spot in mid-town, easy to get to from downtown, Central West end, Soulard or Tower Grove areas. I loved the atmosphere, you can see the chefs cook. I fell into a calm, peaceful zen place watching the team prepare everyone's meals. Five stars for sure for the staff and the ambiance. I gave the food four stars because it was a little on the salty side. When I go back, I'll ask for them to go lighter on the salt. Their tater tots were the perfect level of crispy. The biscuits were the best type of dense and soft.

This was my first time at the biscuit joint. Man I was ready to dig in after getting me and my husband food to do. The first thing we tasted was our hashbrown and it was super super super salty, lawdy I felt like I had instant high blood pressure. We said ok let's get into this biscuit, we both go the chicken biscuit and to our surprise that was so salty too. The chicken was weird too like a chicken patty chicken. We took off the chicken and just at the biscuit and just the biscuit alone was great. After that we tried our cinnamon rolls and it was too much of something or an ingredient was just off, maybe too much nutmeg or I don't know maybe cardamom was added in there, either way it was off tasting. Maybe it was an off day for them, but the atmosphere while waiting and the staff is amazing. I'm scared to try it again.

Legit biscuits and gravy. Take it from a BnG snob. The sage mushroom is the best, believe it!

The cinnamon roll was very minty but perfectly cooked. My smashed biscuit was good but too much aioli. The price was very expensive but the atmosphere was cool.
Parking: There is plenty of parking on the street.

Literally got a tip on the restaurant from the owner’s dad whom I met in the dog park.
I looked at the reviews and thought I should try it. I got the GOAT and my wife got the mushroom and sage b&g with scrambled eggs. Both outstanding and fairly priced. We got takeout, but the restaurant seemed like it had a good vibe and I would go back and sit down. We will be returning.
The pickles on the GOAT were ???

A promising breakfast spot with artisanal biscuit breakfast sandwiches. Taking my first bite, I was met with a burst of flavors. The ingredients were undoubtedly fresh, and the harmony between ingredients was almost perfect. However, as I continued to eat, it became evident that the seasoning was overpowering. The balance, unfortunately, tipped towards an excess of herbs and spices, which overshadowed the otherwise delightful components of the sandwich (and I do not shy away from seasoning/spices).
I left with a mixed impression. The potential for greatness is clearly present at The Biscuit Joint, and the passion behind the cooking is palpable. While the seasoning misstep was notable, it’s a flaw that could easily be rectified with a bit more restraint and balance. Given the overall experience and the evident culinary skill, I would certainly give The Biscuit Joint another visit.
