Karaoke was unexpectedly boomery. Bartender was lovely. Space is very cool. Cocktails were pretty good. Glad to see NA drink options fully featured on the menu. Nice to have more than just water or soda to choose from.Entrance is in the rear, via the deck, nestled into the parking lot.

We've performed here a few times now, and the owner, Carrie, is top notch when it comes to professionalism. She's wonderful, creative and the shows she has hired us for have been incredibly fun. Her staff is warm and inviting, and we always love when we are invited back. The collection of non-alcoholic beverages is incredible as well!! The atmosphere and ambiance of this bar is truly unmatched by any other venue we have been in.

This atmosphere is amazing and it has became my go to spot , I love the fact that I can go here by myself and still feel the effects of going out with friends …… the ambiance is emasculate and I just fell in love with the owner and staff , she’s so welcoming and wants everyone to enjoy their time. I will definitely be back.

The Crack Fox is an interesting place. Its decor is eccentric and so are its weekly offerings. From midnight yoga to karaoke it's a cool spot. Honestly it reminded me of a kitchy NYC lower east side bar ( this is a good thing). The drinks were tasty and creative and the bartender knew her stuff!

Went here for an event and it was a great atmosphere with really delicious specialty drinks. Can't wait to go back sometime to see a show!

I was there last nite for a dance event and apparently I'm not allowed to dance then go to the bar and get a 2nd drink. I was basically the ONLY POC in there and I felt unfairly discriminated against. Some ALT bar if I can't even have a drink at the place I came to party at. So is dancing as a POC grounds for getting cut off?? I think so. It's not like I was the one getting carried out the bar. I guarantee no one else got treated this way. So glad I took out $40 to not spend it here.

We went on a karaoke Tuesday and it was a fun time with friends. The place is not too large but just right for the groups coming in or going out. Drinks were ok, didn't try the food. Sound system was good but tends to get too loud for the singer's voice sometimes. Interesting place for an eclectic crowd.

I've been here a few times for drag shows and always have a good time. Overall staff is friendly and helpful. It is a little cramped sometimes, depending on the performance. The last time we were here was Halloween, and they had people entering the back. I didn't like that much as the stairs were a little wobbly and hard to get up. Plus, people coming out almost hit us with the door as we were going in. I'm not sure if this is a permanent entry or just for the holiday.

I've been a regular at The Crack Fox for the past nine years (give or take a pandemic), so it's hard to write an unbiased review... But, on the other hand, there's a reason this has been my favorite bar in town for that long.I managed bars and concert venues in St. Louis for 25 years before I found this place, and I was immediately blown away by the selection behind the bar and the quality of their mixed drinks.I found myself coming back time and time again because I was impressed with the staff (and because they were booking shows I wanted to see). After a while, it was the crowd I looked forward to seeing. This bar has always drawn a friendly, open-minded crowd. You rarely see women being harassed (because nobody there puts up with that), and I can count the number of fights in the past nine years on one hand. It's a bar for people who act like grown-ups and treat other patrons with respect.Any time someone comes to town, this is the venue I take them to (because I truly feel that The Crack Fox is the most consistent example of how great the nightlife in St. Louis can be).For anyone new to St. Louis, or just visiting for a short while, I can't recommend The Crack Fox enough. There's something great up there almost every night of the week (from karaoke to burlesque), and it draws some of the most interesting and lovely people you'll meet in this town.
