Very loud atmosphere, but we were able to eat outside to avoid that
I’m about sick of how rude the counter people are who take orders. It’s not worth coming here after being treated so rudely. I asked the woman taking the order to correct my order and she gave me attitude. Maybe she should be making sandwiches.
Deliciosa comida! The soups are comforting and delicious, the scones are absolutely amazing, and the drinks are simply fabulous. The staff taking orders are always friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel special. The family that owns The Daily Bread is truly talented—everything they create is made with care. If you want to impress your friends or family, this STL gem is the perfect spot to bring them. Highly recommend!
Love this place. The most amazing pies I have ever eaten.
Huge wait times even when you order online. Sat at the front counter waiting for my order and watched them continuously get orders incorrect
A Tablespoon of bland chicken salad on a half of a ciabatta. 3 thin slices off smoked chicken on half slice of olive focccia bread . This is what Panera usually gives you. All bread. Up your game people. Sad
Great quick stop in the morning . Good food and great service. Place was busy which is a good sign, but lines were moving very quickly. Wull stop here again and again.
Good food at a very affordable price. Friendly helpful service. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. This bread shop is probably the closest thing to what Panera used to be. Very much recommended.

My husband and I visited the bakery for the first time last week. We both enjoyed our lunches (chicken chili, towering.club sandwich, autumn crunch salad, and chicken salad on a croissant). We also purchased pastries to take home. My kids can't stop thinking about their cinnamon rolls, and the cherry strudel was absolutely delicious. We are already planning our second trip!

Why did they sign me up for an SMS service if they're not going to tell me when my order is ready.?

First time visiting this establishment today.
Ordered a slice of Quiche Lorraine and one of the vegetable Quiche.
The vegetable slice was moist and quite tasty.
The Lorraine was a waste of money.
I believe I was served the last piece in the pan that I was shown in the case.
It was overcooked. They must have heated it up far too long because it was difficult getting a fork through it to eat. I make it myself for years at home and quiche is NOT supposed to be tough. The filling should be soft, yet stable.
I was visiting with friends from out of town and didn't want to disrupt our gathering.
What I should have done was taken it back to the counter and requested a new serving. Instead, I gave the remains to the birds on the patio.
Not sure if I will return and give this place a second chance. Quality control matters. I advise to make sure you are served a fresh item.
I should have taken a picture of the Lorraine slice, did of the vegetable slice I took home.
Portions could go up a little. 30 for lunch for wife and I. I had daily double but needed to eat half her sandwich to be full.

Terrible... order online ... get there 10 minutes later ... stand in the lobby for 20 minutes and finally ask about my order and the girl says X is here, no one told me ... as if I'm supposed to announce myself before the order is made... what is the point of online ordering???? She saw me standing there the whole time!!!! Oh ... the sandwich was made wrong too!!!

Fresh, house made food. Locally owned and operated. My favorite Cobb salad. Their baked goods are wonderful as well.
