First time visiting for my wife and I, at the recommendation of our daughter and really glad we took her recommendation! They both had fish and chips with light and crispy fillets and lots of them, I don’t on the fries here they are traditional Belgian and double fried and hand cut. Very crispy and delicious! I had the Dam burger, Think patty melt with a great Smashburger Think patty melt with a great smash burger 2 cheesesand thousand island like sauce, very yummy! Contained in new Amsterdam Tavern which has a great micro beer selection and a nice patio for outdoor dining. The weather was changing and it was getting a little chilly out there but the only thing that kept us from was having another beer. Overall will definitely be back great experience! Very friendly service both at the burger place and at the bar!

Fourth time I have made the drive the get a burger and they are closed. I call and check google everytime. Anwsering machine says they are open. Google business profile says they are open. Pathetic. Three times no sign. Today a sign stating they are closed for a catering event. Communication is a really simple thing to accomplish in today's world. Respect your customers time! Update your google profile and answering machine when you will be closed.

Had the munchies for some ??? burgers. Decided to take the tour inside. Our tour guide Brian but with a “y” gave us the best DAM burger of my life. While we placed our order, Bryan gave us a good laugh and played along with our antics. Trust me..it was quite an adventure. The presentation was superb. Please give this guy a raise! And the burger was once again phenomenal!

We were greeted with gusto by Bryan with a Y. He's a New Yorker like myself, so I knew he'd have great menu recommendations. A few regulars were sitting and waiting for their food too, who were excited for us to have our first burgers. The whole atmosphere was very friendly. I felt like it was another day in the neighborhood, and like I belonged.I am telling you that this is the best burger I've ever had. Absolutely the best. You get as many 3 oz patties as you want and there is every topping you can think of. And the fries, oh the thick cut Belgian fries that were MADE for dipping sauces. I regret splitting an order with my husband. Next time I'll be getting my own.With The Dam in our neighborhood, there is no reason to ever eat a fast food burger again. We spent the same amount we usually spend at the drive through, for high quality local restaurant food.My only wish is that they would offer pre-combined mayo ketchup. It's a popular European combo and they ARE connected to a soccer bar!We sat in the soccer bar, close to the window at a high top table. We had a romantic night in the dimly lit bar. It has been a trying day, and this low key evening of bonding time was rejuvenating.The bar was so cool, especially the decor. I felt like I had been transported to the heart of Amsterdam itself. I was surprised there weren't any wild hooligans with their faces painted, but I had wanted a quiet night so it was fine.The bartender was personable and our drinks were really good. When our food was ready, Bryan brought it over.This is my new favorite restaurant. What a treat.I just love the atmosphere, the kindness, and the dedication to delicious food. I can't wait to go back.

Loved the burger at The Dam. It’s *sort of* attached to the Amsterdam Pub next door - you order your food and they deliver.I can’t remember which burger I had (sorry!) but my date and I both really enjoyed ours and the Loaded Fries are to die for.I will definitely be back!!

The cashier/order taker was very unfriendly - I know it's not a requirement of the job, but a little kindness goes a long way. We always enjoy the burgers at the Dam, but that particular visit on 10/20 just wasn't great.
I was craving a burger, which is unusual for me, so I googled “best burgers near me” The DAM popped up and it was phenomenal. Fresh, hot, cooked to order and very flavorful. I’m impressed!!!! I will be spreading the word.
