It's a funky bar if you're looking for something different! We walked in on a Saturday night & the fortune teller was in giving out people's fortune! Not my thing but still a fun concept to do if you're in the mood to do something spontaneous. The drinks were well priced & had a lot of fun ones in there! Make sure to stop by the Fortune Teller Bar on Cherokee St!

I love the whole feel of this place. Great selection of unique mocktails and cocktails and you can get top notch food from their kitchen, Fourth City Barbecue. Try the jalapeño cheddar sausage. They make it from scratch and it's literally the best I've ever eaten.

This is my new favorite local bar in the Benton Park area. First of all, it not at all what you would expect looking from the outside in. It's a spacious bar that is beautifully decorated and on theme (kitschy and witchy)! The owners and staff are very nice, friendly, and importantly, inclusive. I love that they often host events that feature local artists and creatives (tarot card readings, dark history stories, drawing, etc.) and their own specials and themed games/scavenger hunts. Whether or not they're hosting creatives, this is the kind of place you can bust out a deck of cards at and stay for hours without being bothered or pushed out by staff or rowdy customers. Get to Fortune Teller and get something standard or try one of their unique crafted cocktails or the German mulled wine they have behind the bar in a big crockpot!

I learned of Fortune Teller Bar through a special event they hosted called "Crime and Cocktails." This event occurs monthly, and is led by Rachel, the owner and founder of STL Dark History Tours & Events. It includes original storytelling of 4 different St. Louis scandals, legends, mysteries and murders. The quirkiness of this event matched the quirkiness of the bar. Fortune Teller combines elements of Art Deco design with whimsical charm to create a mysterious yet inviting atmosphere. The drink menu is as eclectic as the decor and features a mix of classic, signature and NA cocktails. I ordered the Boots with the Fur- a NA take on a Kentucky Mule. While the drink was good, the ginger beer seemingly overpowered the taste of the other ingredients, leaving slightly more to be desired. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and look forward to coming to other events in the future!

The Fortune Teller Bar is a bar located in Cherokee Street. They serve a small curated selection of classic cocktails, pre-made cocktails, craft beer, and also have a few non-alcoholic options. They also offer food by Fourth City Barbecue. I came today for an event called Crimes & Cocktails where attendees could listen to the speaker tell historical stories about real life spooky events that had happened in St. Louis. I enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the place as it was dark and mysterious. They also had some pretty neat wall art and murals around the booths. I got a seat at the bar and ordered the Astral Projector which is a gin based drink with lemon and violet liquor. My drink was good! Nice and refreshing but not too sweet. Overall I had a great experience and it was nice to drink my cocktail while listening to some spooky stories!

Woohoo- finally made it to FTB! My siblings and I wanted to go somewhere chill after Thanksgiving dinner, and this was the spot. Due to the holiday, it wasn't super packed which is exactly what we were looking for. This gem is located on Cherokee and is super unique. You walk in and it's a totally different vibe than a lot of bars in stl. It's super wide and open with tons of seating and antique/ art deco vibes. I ordered a drink from their cocktail menu, the Laszlo Cravensworth which was awesome! It was plum vodka, cherry syrup, and Prosecco. Definitely a spritz gal, so the Prosecco caught my interest. It was super great, I don't think I've ever had plum vodka before. They also have the option for you to get your tarot cards read! I'm unsure if they're there alllll the time, so I'd definitely look into their services before attending if that's your jam. They also just opened up a bbq pop up inside, so I'm excited to check it out in the near future!

The atmosphere is cool! It's clean and kind of eclectic but cute and chill. The service was fine. Drinks are pricey and taste just ok. I didn't eat much here, but I did try their cornbread and their BBQ fried rice. The cornbread is cake like but not sweet. Just ok imo. But the fried rice is GOOD! They apparently make their bacon ? in-house. It had a nice smokey flavor but not overpowering. The fried rice was definitely different from the typical Chinese flavored rice you're used to. It's more similar to Japanese styled fried rice. That probably doesn't help most people, lol. Basically, it's not drenched in soy sauce, and it has a smokey bacon flavor. It had fresh green onion on top. I brought it home and added egg to it. I'd go back again just for the rice. Ok, so for the psychic ? reading. The guy we got was young and seemed like he hadn't perfected his craft yet. You go into a smaller room that's still open and airy. Me and my 2 friends went in together. He let me record the entire session. It was $20 per person. He accepted cash or Venmo. He did tarot readings. We had a choice between hearing about our love life, career, and clarification, or you get to ask a specific question. He didn't add too much ambiance, and he kind of stumbled over his words a bit. But overall, the readings were still fun. It was a unique and fun experience.
