Everything ordered at our table was delicious. I recommend the Cuban sandwich and the bird cage salad. I was pleased with my Cosmo as well because it usually comes too sweet for me. A delicious meal and great ambiance. Also close enough to walk to the Fox Theater for an event. That was nice as well to be out of the concert traffic after just a .6 mile walk to our car.
Everything is great. Great food, great service, and incredible ambience. Recommend making reservations to ensure getting a table.
I brought my two great nieces and my best friend. The decor is amazing. The food was good. I had two people who aren't too adventurous in the food category so thankfully the ice cream was the best thing for them. I am going back for the fancy grilled cheese.
We had a nice dinner with our parents before attending the Speakers Series at Powell Hall. We had been to the Fountain before for lunch but not dinner. It was great. There was a good lively crowd. Our waiter, Adam, was helpful and attentive but not pushy.
Sat at the bar with my date and had an absote lovely time. Outstanding service, conversation, and well informed about product knowledge was the staff..

I feel that our experience at The Fountain was pretty mid. We went in around 6:30. The hostess told us there would be an hour wait. Tbh the noise level that hit us when we went in was HIGH VOLUME. Out of curiosity though, I went on Open Table and found a reservation for 6:45. We went back in. The hostess didn't say a word, lol. The booth was drafty. The menu is limited to sandwiches. Even the special was a grilled cheese sammich 😆 The Cuban was tasty enough. The Dill soup was just warm enough and the service fine, if a bit slow. If you don't mind yelling at your dinner companion, or being dissed by a teenage hostess to eat a glorified sammich -- The Fountain is for you!
Went here for lunch, and was happily surprised. The atmosphere is real cute, and the service is good. They make their own ice cream in-house, and the dessert menu is wonderful.

We will definitely be making this place a staple when we are in town. The staff was so helpful and friendly. It was our first time, so they brought out some of their soup for us to try complimentary. Our lunch was delicious! The kids especially enjoyed the sodas and the small ice cream cone flights.

Jazzy, historical, delicious, and swell. We loved the aesthetic of this fun brunch stop. They have a wide selection of cocktails, mocktails, house made sodas, and ice cream treats. The food was very good, the star of the show being the dill pickle soup and the buffalo chicken dip.

this place is alright, i was kind of hoping for a better experience. the ice cream and food is really good, albeit expensive, and the interior is cute! my only major critique is the service; the hostess was very rude and dry, and our waitress didn’t seem very interested in doing her job. me and my boyfriend came in an hour before the place closes (we only planned on a small dinner), yet we felt rushed and pressured to leave right after sitting down. our waitress only really checked in on us once, and the other three times were to tell us that the kitchen and drink/dessert sections were about to close and that we had to order within “three” minutes if we wanted anything. of course, things need to be shut down and cleaned before the restaurant closes, but i wish we were told more in advance so we could pace ourselves properly. also, a sign at the front says customers are given 90 minutes to eat (in order to prevent a waitlist i assume), but only after around 35 minutes of us eating, our waitress asked about and handed us boxes. the few times she stopped by our table, she seemed in a rush and impatient. i also work a closing shift in food service so i can empathize with wanting to finish everything as soon as possible, but it’s not nice to make people feel like they’re inconveniencing you. i didn’t finish my sandwich but i packed it up anyways..
