Rude service with loads of attitude. I stay at the Cheshire Hotel often, and every time the service here is rude and indifferent with attitude. As if I am interrupting or troubling them. Very odd. If it wasn’t for the atmosphere and convenience I would go somewhere else where folks at least pleasant and hospitable.

SUPER rude bartmaid. She hid in the corner of the bar on her phone. When I asked if they had a particular beer she stared at me and said, with attitude, “the menu’s over there.” Then she slammed my glass on the counter as if I was putting her out. Did the same to my friends. The drinks are already expensive. All this after I recommended it. I feel like a fool. Never again.

It's dark and moody. Feels a little dated but it's neat.

Awesome little bar inside the Cheshire
Talk about a hidden gem. Bartenders were great fun and we enjoyed some good drinks. The place is tiny but intimate setting. You won't find this place easily, but you will enjoy it. Parking sucks, but its worth the trouble.

Great service. The bartenders know what they are doing. Love the vibes of the place, especially the comfy couches.

The bar itself (inside the hotel) is like being in an old timey den. It gets a little crowded on weekends, but it's a fun change of pace and the bartenders are great.

Stopped in on a Friday evening and the small bar was full. Since it was just us 2 we were able to snag a table. There is seating outside the bar area in lobby if you have a bigger group or want a more quiet place to chat. You just order food/drinks at the bar and they'll bring it to you. The cocktails were good and we split the lamb sliders and meat/cheese plate.

The Fox & Hounds Tavern is an awesome place. A St. Louis landmark. However without Mark Pollman it's like Graceland without Elvis - RIP my Friend. All who tipped a glass filled by you still miss you.
