Kiki and Kate made the best experience ever. walking in the place is packed and i was immediately served and we were able to get a table for my friends birthday. tbh i don’t like going out bc of poor service especially when it’s busy but this place is the exception. second time being here and consistently have had the best service. thank you for your efforts. and live music ambient light and fireplace this place is a vibe. love yalls thank you.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Soulard Sunday Gem: The Hi-Hat
If you’re looking for the perfect place to while away a lazy Sunday afternoon, let me point you straight to The Hi-Hat in Soulard—your new “why haven’t I been coming here every weekend?” spot.
First of all, the vibe: this French-Quarter-inspired bar has all the charm of New Orleans without the airfare. Fireplace crackling? Check. Drinks made with actual care and skill? Double check.
Speaking of drinks, we kicked things off with a perfect Manhattan and a bright, crisp Gin & Tonic—both mixed with the precision of someone who actually takes pride in their shaker. Our bartender, Lo (hope I’m spelling that right!), was an absolute rockstar. Not only did she keep the cocktails flowing, she even gave us a full tour of their event space—which, by the way, is chef’s kiss for parties, celebrations, or any excuse you can think of to gather people and drink.
Food-wise, let’s talk glory:
Waffle fries, extra crispy (because why settle for anything less?)
Wings smothered in Jala-Mango sauce—sweet, spicy, and deserving of their own fan club.
My only tiny gripe? There are a LOT of TVs. But honestly… on game days I’m sure that’s exactly what half of Soulard wants, so I’ll allow it.
All in all: fireplace, killer drinks, phenomenal service, and food that hits the spot. The Hi-Hat is officially my new Sunday sanctuary.

I'd come back for the atmosphere and live music. Also the staff and bar goers were very pleasant and easy to talk to. Did not like the pizza, it had no tomato sauce and the bottom was burnt.

We celebrated a 30th b-day at the Hi-Hat with a group of about 35 guests, it was fantastic! Easy to coordinate, guests loved the food, and the staff were on top of everything. A great group of people and we can't wait to get back. Thank you Patrick and the Hi-Hat staff.

Overly loud decks t drinks
Hi-Hat is one of those unassuming neighborhood spots that totally over-delivers.
We stopped in for cocktails and pizza, and it was the perfect combo of cozy vibes, great drinks, and seriously solid food. The espresso martinis were smooth, well-balanced, and strong—just how I like them. Definitely one of the better ones I’ve had in STL.
And the pizza? So good! The crust had a perfect crisp, the cheese pull was chef’s kiss, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. We got a sausage and pepperoni pie and demolished it in record time.
Hi-Hat strikes that rare balance of being chill and unfussy, while still delivering on quality and taste. Great for groups, casual nights out, or anytime you’re craving comfort food and cocktails done right.
