Kid-friendliness: Nah Bro.
I love this place and we are at our place in St Louis we frequently visit the Clarkson location. We started with food sensitivities in 2008 with our family. BUT where did the Basil Vinaigrette go? And we love our ladies behind the bar.

Friendly place, nice people and staff....fix the pool table
Hannah was terrific. Very honest and knowledgeable. Loved her recommendations. The cheesecake app and grilled oysters, Fire! My tuna taco's delish. Bread pudding to die for. But Hannah made it! Give her a raise ! ab and pop

This spot is wonderful for a fun night out with great food, drinks, and entertainment. Be sure to ask the server upfront if you need separate checks.
The food was delicious . I especially recommend the 6 oyster appetizer. The jamalaya is very good and nice that you can get a large or cup sized portion. My only complaint is that they brought our entrees before we had even finished our appetizers which made us feel a little rushed even thought it was a Monday and the place was not very busy.

We are native St Louisans and visit this long established place for both the casual ambiance and the food-especially the oysters. But really-they need to invest some money in cleaning and sprucing up the bathrooms-really they were nasty. Holes in the floors and smelly-it was almost embarrassing to take our out of town friends there.
This tiny and legendary spot is close to Busch Stadium. Cool atmosphere and wonderful staff. But, of course, the food is the selling point. Must Haves: the alligator, sausage, and shrimp cheesecake and the blue point oysters. Now with that said, anything else on the menu is wonderful, too. You only hear positives from the other tables. Great place to go to, anytime!

A little New Orleans in St. Louis! Stopped for a late lunch on our way home to Indy from Horseshoe Canyon Ranch in Jasper, Missouri. Had 2 Justa Salads one with shrimp and 1 with crawfish . Alligator ?, sausage and shrimp cheesecake and an order of Uncle Duey's Catfish Fritters. EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS!
Amazing N'awlins-style food. The BBQ shrimp is almost as good as MR B's in New Orleans. All of the food was fresh the staff was friendly and the service was quick. We had made a reservation for 4:30, after a ballgame, but got there almost an hour early. Even though there were people waiting, the hostess honored our reservation early! It is located just past the stadium so if you're in town for a game, I highly recommend stopping in.
