Incredible meal and amazing cocktails! The chef’s tasting menu was excellent, creative, and delicious. The cocktails were so good - don’t skip out on the espresso yourself cocktail. The staff were nice, knowledge, and attentive.

The outside area might leave you questioning if you’re in the right place. But don’t let that deter you! The atmosphere, the food and service are all amazing! Their tasting menu was absolutely delicious and perfectly portioned for us. At first I thought the food wouldn’t be enough but by the 7th course, we were full. Highly recommend for a nice date night!

This spot had been on my husband’s and my list for a while, and with all the positive reviews, we decided to go for a date night. Unfortunately, we left really disappointed.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel like I should help others avoid spending $95 only to end up grabbing a pizza on the way home because we were still hungry. The portions were tiny, and nearly everything had a strange, off-putting taste that made it hard to finish some of the dishes. It wasn’t just that the food wasn’t great—some of it was genuinely unappetizing.
The one bright spot was dessert, which was actually good. But overall, everything else was either just okay or kind of bad. Definitely not the dining experience we were hoping for.

Cool concept, solid drinks, but overall it didn’t quite land for us. The atmosphere felt a little unfinished, and while nothing was bad, it just didn’t leave a lasting impression.

We did the 10 course tasting menu, and there were some really delicious, stand out plates, but overall we didn’t leave satisfied. The dishes were incredibly tiny, and since we were trying the vegetarian tasting menu, the 2 fish dishes were switched out for a sliced tomatoe in one dish and cauliflower in the other. By the end of the meal, we were so hungry we couldn’t wait for them to bring us our check so we could go get food someplace else. We don’t tend to eat huge meals so, this was unexpected!
I felt that $100 was a bit overpriced for what we got… Especially when comparing to a similar meal at Vicia or Bulrush (RIP).
Pretty good. Pairings (including the Non-Alcoholic) were very good.
The drinks and vibe were both great, and the service was excellent—friendly and attentive throughout the night. We tried the $95 tasting menu with 10 courses, and while it was a fun experience overall, the food didn’t quite hit the mark for us. A few dishes leaned too salty or lacked depth in flavor, and the fish was a bit more pungent than expected. We left feeling a bit hungry but definitely enjoyed the cocktails. With a few tweaks to the menu, this place could be a real gem.

Everything about Savage & The Accomplice was excellent. We ordered the tasting menu with drink pairing. I have a very unusual drink sensitivity that our waiter immediately addressed and worked with the bartender to accommodate. They were nothing but friendly and helpful the entire time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or exploring the great food scene in St. Louis!

After calling ahead to confirm explicitly that we would have a table, the bartender and host spontaneously decided they’d changed their minds, claiming only the bar was open. Why be so blatantly dishonest? If you’re closed, just say it—don’t lie directly to a customer’s face. They obviously reneged hoping my girlfriend and I would get desperate enough to ditch dinner plans and settle for alcohol. Such a classic St. Louis move; this place would be empty night after night in New York or San Francisco—or really anywhere with standards higher than disappointing.

This place is so beautiful and the service is great. However, they have really missed an opportunity by not having a better menu for the bar food, the drinks are very good though! I was under the impression that they were shifting to more of a bar atmosphere and would have appetizers/ food options aside from the tasting menu with the rebrand. As far as I can see they are still very much only catering to the tasting menu. Be warned the bar snacks are not worth your money, I’m very confused who they would appeal to. Just go for the tasting menu and good drinks or go support them down at Press Pizza. I really wish this place would find its way since it’s in my neighborhood.

I ate dinner here with my girlfriend on valentine's day and it was the biggest waste of money I've ever experienced. We were served about eight 2-3 bite courses and I enjoyed 2 of them. The $200+ meal experience for two included mushroom soup, a cracker, some bread & butter, a bowl of wheat and soybeans, and several other dished that tasted like feet. Not to mention the extra $110 for 5 drinks that also somehow tasted like feet. All in all I walked out of there out $400 (with tip), disgusted, and still hungry. Please never go here.

Stopped here for drinks and apps. Excellent service, fabulous cocktails, and the focaccia was really delicious. We will be back for a tasting night!

Went here for an anniversary, and I was simply disappointed. The staff was polite and accommodating, but service took about 2.5 hours, which seemed to occur because all tables were served at the same time. 1st dish was a crumpet with tomato butter. It tasted like a cheezit, interesting but a bit underwhelming. Next dish was a perfectly serviceable beet salad. The Hamachi crudo was just a bit bland, in need of more salt and acid to cancel out the watermelon (why?). The Missouri Rice tasted great, mushrooms perfectly cooked, almost like a Japanese risotto, but the sesame seeds in the furikake were so hard, I thought I was going to crack a tooth. Next up was a ludicrously oversized bowl containing about a tablespoon of green beans which were so acidic they gave my wife almost instant reflux, and there was a lingering bitterness that made me think they boiled lemon rinds with the beans. The pork collar was the only dish I have zero complaints about. Perfectly cooked, a nod to corned beef and cabbage with an unbelievable potato puree. Lastly, a cantaloupe buttermilk sorbet, which was so cloyingly sweet, I could only take one bite.
There are obviously some talented people working here, but the emphasis seems to be on cleverness and ironic presentation rather than good honest food. My advice would be to ditch all the frivolities, the single purpose plates for example and the insistence on serving all tables at once, and just make good honest food while reining in the impulse to sneak an extra ingredient for the sake of being eccentric.

Lucky accomplice is a fun trendy dining experience with elevated cocktails. They have an a la carte menu as well as a tasting menu. We did the a la carte and were impressed with every dish. The Missouri rice was the star of the meal but the green beans and pork were not to be missed. The only thing on the menu that we didn’t absolutely love was the potato ice cream. The black garlic magic shell and fried potato toppings were awesome, but the ice cream was a little too starchy. Still, the experience was fun and I will definitely be back.

Went recently to get the tasting menu for our anniversary. Though the food was good the atmosphere really killed the vibe for a fine dining experience. The music was so loud that I could only hear about 50% of the dish explanations so I was left confused to what I was eating. This, combined with the fact that they kept the menu secret until the end, made it do I never truly want I was eating. Overall it’s a nice, clean place with decent food just poorly executed on the fine dining / tasting menu experience. It felt like they tried to mixed a hipster tapas cocktail place with fine dining and it just doesn’t work. I think it’s much better suited as a cool place for cocktails and tapas, not for a tasting menu experience. Also, I left hungry (I never have from other tasting menus), which after spending $160 per person (cost, tax, gratuity) I wasn’t super stoked about.
