Came here for breakfast with my hubby and the food was delicious!! Highly recommend. Space is small but we had no trouble finding a table! Will definitely come back for a Belgian Waffle!

Lovely little place for breakfast. Comfortable, nice crowd, and most importantly, great food with a sprinkle of creativity.

Only one star was issued due to the fact that nothing lower could have been given.....

Won't be back

Food was good. Not friendly. Walked in, a woman was decorating the window. Didn't say hello or acknowledge me.

I walked to the counter not sure if I had to wait for a table. So, I walked up to the counter where three woman were talking. They looked at me and continued to talk. I asked if I order here or sit at a table. They stared at me, and finally one said order here.

As I sat waiting for my food these same ladies were welcoming to other people coming in.

As I walked out no good bye or any acknowledgement. As I was going out the door the same lady who decorated the window was taking pics of her work. Again, no acknowledgement or thanks for coming.

Sad, it's a cute place. One I won't recommend or visit again.

Just my experience.

Traveling in the area 12-7-24 had this placed saved on my Google maps. I love coming to coffee cafes across the US with a rustic vibe. Staff was awesome, environment was peaceful. I felt safe coming to the neighborhood and this location as a solo female. Food was yummy. Ordered a hash breakfast, black coffee and chocolate chip cookie for later day treat. I would give 5 stars but the ONLY issue I had was the music was choppy (cutting in/out) as if it was on someone’s phone as if they were playing it Bluetooth via the speakers. That was very distracting amongst myself and others in the cafe.

I have always wanted to be able to drink my cappuccinos without sugar but I always end up caving and adding the sugar. This place’s cap was so good without the sugar and I finally had the pleasure of enjoying coffee on a much better level.
3/4 of the way through the cup though, I did want just a little something sweet so I got a donut which really ruined that lovely cap experience. A low sugar, crunchy biscotti would have been a better pairing.

The three of us had breakfast at the Mud House. Guys, it was really great. As there were no signs pointing to the restaurant, we first saw the words "Mud House" on the letterbox and then immediately saw the entrance. But then...
Go in and feel at home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The ambience, paired with soft, pleasant music, invites you to linger. From A for avocado toast to Z for zesty awesome coffee, there's everything your heart desires. Honestly? I love America, but after a while I need a place that brings me down with love, heart, time and healthy food. The Mud House is such a place. Coffee latte, fruit bowl, avocado toast and orange juice for 30 dollars - and that, dear friends, is really worth it.

I enjoyed the vibe and the great service very much. I'm very picky about coffee and about biscuits and gravy. But this was a great place to sit with a friend and visit for a couple hours, and I enjoyed exploring the neighborhood afterwards.
