So I used to live next door to this place.I had a fiance who was up to no good and pocketing the rent. When our antique row fairy tale ended they bought our building and expected me to pay some undisclosed amount of back rent (pay the rent again sucker! Yeah.sure.)instead of communicating what was going on from the beginning.I now still am unsure what I supposedly owe or how it affected my credit but I basically can't rent anywhere.Fun stuff.Anyway the hipster staff is snarky snobby and rude, but its comical to observe and that absolutely is part of its charm. Its a show.100% The coffee is THE BEST coffee I have ever had.I don't know what it is about it but man...it is VERY good.Amazing.The food is also amazing. Its an adorable place.I am embarassed to go there though I should simply be pturbed but yeah.I never have the money to go out for fancy coffee anyway but yeah...its good.Very good.

Mediocre at best. We were just passing through and ordered takeout for breakfast. The avocado toast had maybe 1-2 slices of avocado spread very, very thinly across 2 thick pieces of dry bread. The arugula, pickled onions and radishes were great. The sunny eggs were cooked well, but they put them on a piece of red and white checkered paper and there was red dye all over them. I orders extra crispy turkey bacon, which was super soggy and not anywhere close to crispy. My husband got the waffle which was mediocre - not awful, but not really good either. I wouldn't eat here again, especially for the price.

I am a bit of an Iced Mocha hunter. Weekend disc golf trips to towns all over the Midwest means I've tried lots of Iced Mocha and the one at Mud House is probably in the Top 3 of what I've had in terms of consistency and the flavor. Not too much Mocha flavor, excellent latte with whole milk. Hits the spot. Also, the Bacon Cheddar Scone is amazing. My wife is going to try and reverse engineer it so I can them at home sometime since they sell out.Side note. Most of the bake goods sell out on Saturdays by 11am.Best Iced Mocha I've had is at Camp4Coffee in Crested Butte Colorado.

Stopped by here for some lunch before walking around Cherokee street, and I'm obsessed! It was pretty busy on a Sunday, but service was still quick. The inside is adorable and quirky and filled with art! They have plenty of seating inside and a gorgeous patio outside as well. The servers were attentive to food allergies as well, which is great. Sadly got rid of the tofu scramble and vegan slinger, but I will be back to get the coffee :)

I met up with some friends for brunch here this morning and it was such a lovely spot! It was pretty busy so we did have to wait a few minutes for a seat but I completely understand why. My friends and I had several different drinks and dishes including two dirty chai lattes, an horchata latte, and a regular latte plus the breakfast burrito, avocado toast, mushroom and spinach hash, and the American breakfast; we thought every single thing was delicious! Shoutout to the hash though because, truly, *chef's kiss*. The staff were also lovely and very kind and there was plenty of parking outside. I'll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a great breakfast and a cozy vibe.

The last few experiences here haven't been great, it feels like the quality has gone down since the business sold, I hope the current management decides to turn things around- this was such a gem of the neighborhood! Today they were out of a basic ingredient (turkey) by 11am and counter staff didn't know that, and management couldn't refund my card for some reason, so I got a (partial) cash refund and now have to go back to work and figure out how to reconcile the expense and refund. What a headache.

One of the best places for brunch. Very positive and uplifting atmosphere, great music, extremely delicious food ( can vouch for the mushroom/spinach skillet). Service is quick and seamless. If you go here around after noon, the sun comes in through the window at a nice angle which makes it look very elegant.Vegetarian options: For people who can eat eggs, there’s plenty of vegetarian options.

Great food. English breakfast was fantastic. They know how to make a god cappuccino, which is rare. Def great service and the vibe is fantastic. In town from San Diego for the weekend and this place gets a 5/5.
